What abilities does he have, for those of us who haven't read the books ?

Cole is also the murderer who has been stalking the corridors of the Spire, granting apprentices and newly-arrived mages a swift end rather than the eventual prospect of Tranquility or execution by the templars. He does these mercy killings because those who wish for death or are about to die are the only ones who can see and "remember" him
Cole is in fact a spirit who uses blood magic to keep people from remembering him, or even noticing him at all. When the Lord Seeker uses the Litany of Adralla to dispel his invisibility, Cole slowly realizes what he is and with that knowledge, fades completely.
I’m terrified that Morrigan in the new Dragon Age 3 trailer is actually Flemeth in Morrigan’s body…
That's joke or true ??
That's some ridiculous rumour going around after people watched the reveal trailer and probably later the "expert" opinion of IGN rewind don't pay attention to it.

Thanks for the info on Cole .
So he has a solid body then ?
I had assumed he was a spirit like Justice.
If he a blood mage players who don't like that shouldn't have to take him.
I hope Bioware doesn't force him on us.

As huge Cole fan, bring him on! Oh and if you don't want him then just reject him or kill him. This isn't the first time a murderer/assassin/enemy has been companion.

Cole has a physical body since well he can hold weapons and stabbed people with them, as for the reason why he might have a physical body that seems to have something to do with the fact there was a real Cole at some point.
Which actually makes him just another Justice, except that its a demon who love killing people while he look into their eyes thinking he's bringing mercy to them. While Cole is an interesting concept, think he makes terrible companion material.
He's much better as an antagonist for a murder investigation. Especially with the blood magic that erase memory and makes in invisible...

No, Justice is a self-righteous nutjob who thinks his always the good guy. Cole is more of a lost animal who has no idea what his doing or where his going. Just because there both spirit or demons doesn't suddenly mean their similar.

I agree with you that they are similar but different, as for why he's killing people is that they want to die or are near death but he has been shown to have a compassionate side also the one person he most likely killed that didn't want to die deserved to die for his actions and what he set in motion.
I'm not sure what kind of companion he would be and I'm not sure that rumor is true.

At this point there is evidence for Cole, and really no sign of any other character from Asunder.

I thought it would be a good idea to arrive in a city/town (possibly Val Royeaux) and be approached by someone who wants your help, because an unkown assailant is killing members of a certain faction (Templars, Mages, etc.). So you would go through the questline, and at the end you would have a choice (lets say he's killing Templars for this example), you can stop him from murdering more Templars, if you're pro-templar (or you just disagree with his "methods"), or if you're pro mage, you let him go, and he keeps killing Templars.

I wouldn't exactly call it a rumour though, considering that his name appeared alongside other characters who we know for sure are in the game as companions or significant characters (Sera, Iron Bull, Scribe Lady with the cool hair).

Not the rumors about him being a companion the one that says someone from Asunder will be in the game since I've found no other mention of it anywhere else but the Morrigan tumbler site and even posted the link.

Cole does not have a physical body. He disappeared when Lambert used the Litany. He's not just some spirit/demon and he's not an abomination. He can physically manipulate the waking world without physical form. He's something new.

"We have something else in mind for that, which is a lot more grandiose than even the Keep system. We'll get into that later on. I think people are going to freak out!"
You can't tease me like that and then just leave, Bioware. It's cruel.

It shows some properties of 2 armors for Cassandra, including a new type of effect for armor.
