Of course it is bare bones but I hope what I read it's not true, and if it is that it belongs to before they changed the scope of the game (even though I don't see why they would significantly touch the story and the factions).
Well the "bare bone plot" of DAO isn't very inspiring either: "In order to fight a 100% evil corrupted force, you must unite factions that hate each other and lead the force in a final battle"
And I still think the overall plot of DAO is sleep-inducing, but the individual arcs are brilliantly written

Funny since you just described the whole plot of ME3 (Minus corruption) in that post as well.

Yup, my point whole stands for ME3 as well
Althrough the Reapers weren't just "100% corruption" there were more ambigous...before the reveal of their pointlessness

The biggest problem for now is too much toleracy- Inquisitor can be elf or Quinary. It just can't be true - being elf in Thedas is like being jewish in Medieval England. People just won't respect that Inquisitor.
And common girl and mage Morrigan is respected person in Imperial Court. I can't true too- Common people hate mages. Celina's nobles reject her.
Actually, they've said at the start of the game, no one respects the Inquisitor or the Inquisition, regardless of the character's race. And they've hinted that qunari PCs will be unable to start an area's quests purely based on their race. As for Morrigan, does it matter to anyone, especially Morrigan, if the Orlesians don't like her? No, the only person that matters is the Empress. And remember, the vast majority of mages are in the Circle and therefore no longer noble. It's why the Amell Warden cannot marry Alistair. All mages are commoners, and the ones who aren't are illegal apostates and trying to keep that hidden.
