Thank you! This look like it may be beyond my wildest expectations.
Im kind of terrified to watch this as I was sitting directly behind the person filming it, and am wondering if any of my idiotic and/or possibly off-topic/injoke comments got picked up.

Upsettingshorts, how was seeing the game live? A lot of us watched the demo after reading the info thanks to the tweets, and the video quality isn't the best. I' curious to know the opinion of someone who watched it directly.
I will give you my basic impression. The best view for me was not actually the big screen, but a secondary monitor off to the side which was a 50" or so HDTV.
Well, the rigs running the game were obviously extremely powerful so this shouldnt come as a shock but... the framerate was very smooth and the game looked very, very pretty. The textures on the ground and the quality and diversity of the flora are probably not conveyed in cam footage. But what you really lose in the video though is the audio quality. In addition to slowing down the attacks what really stood out to me was the way the strikes with swords and such conveyed the impact.
Note: My friend is laughing in the Behind the Scenes Panel at around 11:20ish, not because of the panel, but because when they introduced RING it reminded her of this Diablo 3 loot she got that was randomly named. She pulled it up on her phone and showed it to me, the item was named LUXURIOUS CRACK. Yes, we showed it to Mike after. Ether as a warning as to the dangers of procedurally generated names... or inspiration. You decide.

Every class has its own set of abilities. Mages can’t do the same things as warriors.

Gaider has a blurb about it on his Tumblr today. He mentioned that the blond elf has a writer. Hence, she would be a confirmed companion?

It was already exceedingly likely that she was a companion since that art matched the concept art from the leak and the in-game model of a companion from the GI video.

I don't want to read too much into this, but his comment of "it completely captures the personalities of the characters involved" sounds like all these guys will be on DAI.
what's this referring to?

They are , more or less.
We saw Sera(elf) ,Cassandra and the Grey Warden( beard guy) in a gameplay footage video.
They were all companions.

I think my favorite thing about it is how it completely captures the personalities of the characters involved, without any words being required. When Luke saw this (the writer for the blonde elf in the middle), I believe he did his customary smirk and just said, “Yup.”"
Then again, I might be overthinking his comment.

All characters are assigned to specific writer, not just the companions.

To be fair, it could just mean that someone did justice to some OCs that the writers had all created (though I believe they're probably all companions). xD

And that´s what Matt Rhodes wrote under the picture:
"DA:I - Watchers
I am completely, unashamedly in love with adventure stories. If they
happen to include traveling the world to uncover the secrets of ancient
civilizations? Even better."
I wonder what he means... The concept art reminds me of Lord of the Rings. Perhaps it´s conected to the cave writings briefly showed in the footage? I think some cave monster/demon won´t amuse itself with cave writings. What if they are left by some other culture?
