I know the murder knife is a fan favorite but it is just so stupid. My mage Hawke lobbing a tiny knife into a zombie skeleton's head and then taking 45 minutes to pull it out while his mother's Frankenstein body was tumbling to the ground was exceptionally ridiculous in an already ridiculous segment of the game.

We'll be at the Edmonton Expo.

Indeed, I hope we can get to kill people with our magic in the cutscenes.

Yes please! I'd prefer if my mage actually used magic instead of throwing that ridiculous knife

I would be sad to see the murder knife go the way of the griffons.

I must be in the minority, here. I actually appreciate the murder knife. While I loved the new mage animations when finishing off bosses in DA2, I usually play a goody-two-shoes mage, and killing someone with magic (like . . . lighting someone on fire, for instance) is a lot less quick and clean than just using the murder knife.

Though throwing the murder knife, eh, maybe not.

But back on topic, does it seem like things have been quiet on the twitter front lately?

It was quiet for months before and it will be quiet now. This is what happens when news month is gone, sadly.

My heater is getting the evil eye from me tonight. We still have some "summer" remaining. I refuse to turn you on!!

David Gaider ‏@davidgaider 18 Sep
@Cameron__Lee Summer has vacated the premises. All that's left is some abandoned underwear and wistful memories.

Cameron Lee ‏@Cameron__Lee 18 Sep
@davidgaider Does sitting in the corner, hugging myself and sniffing summer's underwear make me a freak?

Out of curiosity, because they are always saying they can't talk about the story just yet, when can the devs start talking about the story? Not that I'm looking for an exact date and time, I mean like this December or Spring 2014.

They will probably not mention much about the story. Maybe the basic premise towards late spring early summer if we're lucky.

I just hope they can avoid a major leak like with ME3.
Back then, I lost the battle against my curiosity.
I hope this time, there will be no such temptation.

It pales compared to what happened to ME3.
With DAI, we've only got the companions and general points/ideas of the story... ME3's leaks (Even most of the dlc were found before announcement... And I'm not talking about that infamous list) were a bigger monster than that.

ME3's leak was what, 2 months before release? DAI is still a year away and the leak was already 10 months back, not sure how accurate that info still is.

I think it was leaked around November 2011, 4-5 months before release.
