ME3's leak was what, 2 months before release? DAI is still a year away and the leak was already 10 months back, not sure how accurate that info still is.
The surveys appear to be entirely accurate. Nothing BioWare has officially announced/unveiled thus far has been inconsistent with them and the major plot points outlined in them have been confirmed.

I'm not aware of this leak. What was in it? I love spoilers, even if they are terribly out of date.
Search the DA2 forum for the thread about a leaked survey. It should still be there, it's just locked.

I just hope they can avoid a major leak like with ME3.
Back then, I lost the battle against my curiosity.
I hope this time, there will be no such temptation.
... there already WAS a major leak.
Okay, that's true.
But I was more refering to the ME3 leak where someone extracted a huge amount of dialogue lines, including the ending. For me this is worse than what already leaked regarding DA:I. The DA:I leak was broad, while the ME3 leak was deep, if you will.

We get spears as weapon?
We do? Awesome.
If we don't, they should totally implement this. Qunari could throw spears in DA2 after all.

Another things is that the leak was a marketing survey. Basically a "Do you like this"-questionaire. That alone to me seems its subject to change if there's not enough positive feedback.

Here's hoping this time nothing major leaks, 'cause that leads to mass hysteria.

I wouldn't call anything a leak until it's confirmed to be accurate by something else. The "Witcher forum" thing is one person posting 'screenshots' that apparently nobody noticed for six months, and no-one has been able to find the original posts. Treating it as valid information is giving credibility to something that anyone could've made up overnight.
(I remember after ME3 was released there was a new "ending DLC leak" every week that was basically just someone on 4chan making things up, knowing that it would get a reaction and hundreds of people talking about it)
When the marketing survey leaked last year I was initially really sceptical, until it was proven beyond doubt by people noticing the similarity of the art style and other stuff.

The survey was for marketing purposes, not for development purposes. The point of it was to help them decide which materials, characters and plot points to market, that's all. The reason it's been so accurate is becausel that stuff was set in stone already.

That "leak" exudes BS. Nothing about it seems legit.

Only Varric. We don't even know the name of this Warden. This isn't good- guys get Vivian, Morrigan and Cassandra. How about girls?BasilKarlo wrote...

Morrigan isn't going to be a companion, so it's 2:1 with over a year left for reveals. Just chill out.

Women will get something as well, of course. DA has always been fair in gender equality (4 for each gender in DAO, 4 in DAII - plus Seb and Tallis), so I wouldn't worry so much.
I'd actually rather they don't market any more companions beyond Viv, Cass and Varric, otherwise each one of them is going to be spoiled.

And how do we even know Cassandra and Vivienne are romance options? Nobody's ever said anything about it.

Didn't you know, everyone is a romance option until we play the game? Gaider had a blog post about it recently.

Some women might be more into Vivienne or Cassandra; not everybody likes the opposite sex. Heck, not everybody likes romance/sex at all. Just saying.
Also, even if they are romance options, how are strong, well-written female characters not "something for the girls?" I find her implication kind of offensive that the only thing "for the girls" is [heterosexual] romances...
