Why on earth would PAX schedule its conventions around one game's release date? Why would they be related at all? Not sure I understand.Legenlorn wrote...

PAX Australia
It's official - #PAXAus 2014 will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 31 Oct - 2 Nov, 2014!
Soo... Does that mean we get a DA:I release after that sometime in Nov or Dec? Or does that mean we get another release date delay?
(Though it'll be interesting if PAX Australia is after DAI's launch, since Bioware have traditionally sent staff to those events after game launches for more fan interaction and stuff)

Hmmm, Stroud. I could definitely see him as the Warden we've been peeking at in the game pics and sum concept. Last time I saw Stroud, I threatened to kill him...sooo...yeah.
I wonder what the main hub is, or where it is rather?

I mean, I just wouldn't mind the occasional opportunity for my Inquisitor to roll in the leaves and judge passers-by, too.

Today we started looking at the play style and preference survey. Thanks everyone who filled it out - so much data to cross-correlate!

Sad thing we won't get the opportunity to look into the results. I'm very interested in them.

Today I begin a rather different batch of @patrickweekes writing, and already it's got me blushing and nearly doing spit-takes.

Now I'm really curious as to how a release date of fall 2013 (now) was being put out there via tweets last winter. Especially if major things like companion dialogue is evidently not finished yet.ElitePinecone wrote...

The thing is though that Gaider might only have to work on 2-5 companions, they have had other writer's in the past write different characters.

Besides it wasn't a date set in stone , and the whole reveal of DAI was kind of forced.
If i remember correctly the survey had leaked , the doctors were leaving and the ME3"scandal" was still fresh.
I guess it was more about saying Bioware is alive and kicking than anything really concrete.

It's called procrastination. We've all done it. Had they stuck with a Fall 2013 release date, Gaider probably would have made that tweet last Spring or so.sandalisthemaker wrote...

As it stands, they said: "hey, we got another year." So... here we are today, and Gaider just got done doing NPC #2.

I wouldn't say procrastination as much as focusing on other important details first. lol. Yes, companions are important, especially for a bioware game, but taking account fan feedback, adding races, and the like came first it seems.
