As far as the fall 2014 thing...they might wanna remind the ceo's how skittish fans can be. Sounds to me more like this ceo needs more....study of their Various product lines and their activities. Right now it's all about BF4 and the sports titles.

I always considered Ryu to be more of a Shoryuken kinda guy though

The continuing adventures of Bethany/Sebastian sounds pretty sweet, though I'm not sure what adding Nathaniel would accomplish, unless DG foresees Seb and Nate doing their best "Jacob and Edward" impression.

This is really interesting, since a lot of critical feedback after the game launch seemed to suggest people wouldn't have found the opening scene of the game so jarring if we'd had a slower opening and a chance to get to know the Hawke family. At least it was being considered at one point, although it's unfortunate that the resources weren't there to do it.

I wouldn't take David's comment as a "we didn't have the time" type of resources, but rather more of a "We're fundamentally not going to spend much time there." With more time/resources, it's very possible that they'd have been spent adding content to post-prologue aspects of the story.

I guess the implication then is that not doing something in this case wasn't so much a question of resources as one of priorities? The opportunity cost of building Lothering for a short introduction versus adding more content later on does seem to be quite high.
