Just finished a #DAI peer review for one of my followers which, quite possibly, was the most positive one I've ever had. Gosh.

Ooh. Who is it?

It could only be one to get such a positive reception.

.....or you know, a character who doesn't exist yet.

Patrick Weeks@PatrickWeekes: @davidgaider that WAS less of a savaging than normal for us! I suppose you have only yourself to blame for making it too damned good.

Reviewing end-of-month progress videos from the whole team tonight. Massive progress on all fronts.

Aaryn Flynn@AarynFlynn: @Mike_Laidlaw Yeah, that was definitely on display today. Well done to the entire @dragonage team for a great sprint review.

Okay, makes sense.

I guess the implication then is that not doing something in this case wasn't so much a question of resources as one of priorities? The opportunity cost of building Lothering for a short introduction versus adding more content later on does seem to be quite high.

Yeah, and while I understand, I would have liked a Lothering opening very much. Ah, well. We go forth! :)

@Mike_Laidlaw Hi. Mike, I have one question for you: Belly controls in #DAI Character Creator? Thx pic.twitter.com/4DBimcnhwK

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw

@IlidanDA No belly sliders in character creator. It’s a tech anim thing for creatures.

@Mike_Laidlaw Btw. Was there the #sprintReviewDay yesterday?

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw

@IlidanDA Sort of. We’ve changed the format, so it’s not all day. Different phase of the project.

Not that's strange but still it'is because they have still one year or more if the game come out between september 2014 and beginning 2015. more we come close to release date more the working hour could change and begin  strange

Its all good, the worst thing for a composer is to be in a good mood, the best music tracks have been written by frustrated, angry and sad composers.

Patrick Weeks@PatrickWeekes: "Character Race: Elk" Yes, Patrick, the folks in voice over will love your surreptitious addition of the Reindeerfolk to the Dragon Age IP.

Patrick Weeks@PatrickWeekes: It's not like K and F are even particularly close to each other on the keyboard.

Sometimes someone just wants to get some stuff done, or there is an internal deadline with some large dependencies and people waiting to get a system online.

I stuck around late on Tuesday this week just because there was some stuff I wanted to get done and I didn't get a chance to do so during the day.

The thing is, if they just cut all of Act III and focused on less caves and a less confusing intro, DAII may have been the better game for it. Act III is where everyone's least happy with, and the showdown with the Arishok is where all the hype was.

They could have just abandoned mage templar and gone for Qunari vs. Thedas.
