Absolutely agreed. I cannot get over that Inquisitor cosplayer - the costume looks fantastic. Both of them do but the detail on the Inquisitor armor is just so impressive.

Why are they working an Saturdays an Sunday anyway? Always asked myself this when David Gaider wrote he spend weekend writing.
That´s some strange working hours, are they not?
Not that's strange but still it'is because they have still one year or more if the game come out between september 2014 and beginning 2015. more we come close to release date more the working hour could change and begin strange
Sometimes someone just wants to get some stuff done, or there is an internal deadline with some large dependencies and people waiting to get a system online.
I stuck around late on Tuesday this week just because there was some stuff I wanted to get done and I didn't get a chance to do so during the day.

Speaking of consoles, I wanna bake and mail a cake to Bioware HQ that just says "gamepad support on PC pls".
They've said that's happening.

BioMarkDarrah 12m@Michael_Barsky likely not. We'll let the noise of new console launches die down a bit first
So...we won't be getting anything in time for the VGA's?

That was always highly unlikely. There's still almost a year to go . We probably won't see anything new before January at the very least.

Late Spring/early Summer seems likely IMO. The launch window for the new consoles is 6 months. There will be a massive marketing push from Sony, Microsoft and most third-party developers during that time. BioWare needs to skirt that hype.

Yeah. DAI already seems out of the ordinary by having this much information (even gameplay videos!) out this early. Mass Effect 2 and 3 were both only announced roughly a year before their original launch daes (though 3 was delayed by six months or so).
DA2 had its first trailer seven months before it launched.
More info is great, but I'm sure there's a marketing team at EA who want to save some of the juiciest feature reveals, or whatever, for when they're going to have the biggest impact.
(And didn't one of Mike or Mark say something about keeping quiet on stuff until they were sure it was locked in as a part of the game?)

Is there anything you could tell me about mages or there powers in Dragon Age:Inquisition? Huge Fan by the way! Love your work
Mike Laidlaw
Well, they will be relatively close to the previous games, but some elements are changing. More details next year.

Is it possible a certain character from a certain book might make an appearance in a certain game?
Mike Laidlaw
We’ve already said publicly that someone from Asunder will appear in DAI, just not whom.

I understood Leliana won't be a party member, but rather stand in a similar position as Morrigan.
My money's on Cole.

Actually, maybe Cole was the companion that David was writing recently? He does sound like a character that would say totally inappropriate things out of naïveté.

I get the impression that he was a mysterious murderous denizen of the fade who only one person could see? Then he disappeared and came back later to Lambert somehow to explain that he is someone based on a real mage who had perished after being forgotten in the templar dungeon?

That's a good summary, I think. There was always some ambiguity over exactly what he was, even at the end of the novel.
The survey blurb about Cole was:
Cole:
A long time ago, a young man died a cruel death in a dark place. And now,
somehow, there is Cole. Was he a spirit or a demon? Is he human now?
Cole’s not sure it matters anymore. Hounded by memories that aren’t his, invisible
in a world he can stalk like a shadow, the rogue must decide between
joining the living or preying on them.
