Mantle is going to be interesting. I'll be buying a new GPU next year, and it seems like (for the next 2 or 3 years at least) AMD might be the best choice. At least until DX12 rolls out and is utilized well, Mantle could be the smart option.

I'm going to delay my GPU purchase until some real comparisons can be run. Competition like this between Nvidia and AMD is a win/win for us consumers though :lol:

Not sure where to post this, but this is the most active thread ;). Just a curiosity, but are we able to switch what kind of keeps we have after we chose one? So lets say that we have taken over a keep and turn it into a militaristic one. Are we still able to switch to another keep later on?

That seems highly unlikely. When we make the keeps we have to dedicate specific resources to them and then those keeps seem to effect what becomes possible for us to do in those areas. If we can switch them at will in undercuts that entire system.

I think we'll be having multiple keeps, though. So if you want to have one as a military fortress and one as a trading hub in another area, it should be doable.

if you have to cut content I'd be completely okay with them releasing it as day one dlc. If I feel like its good content I'll get it if not I wont.

Is it because they have a limit for how much they can put into the game, or because of time? If we lose content due to time constraints I'm totally fine with pushing the date back.

Sometimes they just cut content because it doesn't work.
Anyway the chances of us ever finding out what content was cut and why is pretty low...
I wouldn't think too much about it , really.

I think that every game has content cuts during development. Regardless of the fact that Bioware might push the release to 2015, there are going to be content cuts.

Exactly, even if the game was in development for 10+ years there would have to be content cuts. Sometimes some things just don't make sense, or cannot be occomplished technically, or someone higher up doesn't like it, or you decided to go in a different direction.  Game develop is a huge GROUP effort with many technical, time, and monetary restraints.

Poor devs though, it's never really easy.  <3

Yeah, I think it's almost better if we don't know they're cutting content. We can't be disappointed in something we never knew existed. I trust that it's being cut for the right reasons, and for all we know the game would be worse off if some content wasn't cut. 

(Bloated content can be bad!)

They won't cut it out, they'll... rework it. They'll warp a pre-existing dwarf head into a cyclops and cut out the body and call it a day.

I think Inquisition is the first game to use the Frostbite 3 engine WITH a character creator. This should produce some interesting results.
