(It would make sense that with a year or more to go, many things still haven't been written, let alone recorded?)

I'm guessing the game is going to get A LOT of polishing, considering we're like 10ish months away from launch and they are already at this stage
After the final act of ME3 was so badly bungled BioWare is probably making sure they have a solid, logical story before they start beautifying the game and tightening everything else up.

David Attenborough semi-confirmed?
Hmmm? David Attenborough? Who are you talking about?
His voice has a weird intonation that is way too high.
I needs me a deep voice.

Mr. Gaider just added a part 5 to his "nuts and bolts of game writing" series. Not really Twitter, but since I linked to the first 4 parts, here's the 5th, this time with more talk about budget and cuts.

Thanks for linking those Kallinachus. I think that series should educate people a bit more about writing for games and all the vast challenges that you face. Some people harp about BioWare not taking things into account (see the example of the mage hawke/templar quest that had to be cut) thinking it is just 'lazy writing'. Until someone sits down at the computer using a toolset such as NWN or the dragon age one and does some writing they can't realize what game writers face.

No call or email, so I guess I didn't get in to the playtest. Ah well. That's probably best for my bank account. Still, 4-ish hour bus ride each way woulda been worth it.
EDIT: That is absolutely not a jab at you. I would have done the same for sure.
I know I am validly crazy.
