Or she could be Lif, a distant descendant of Hawke's, the Warden's, and Morrigan's bloodline, trained in a desolate future so that she can return to the past to settle a war that would otherwise have earth shattering consequences as it rips apart the Veil?

Or maybe just Cassandra?

Personally I would be extremely wary about using any elevator with Meredith on the front of it. You could end up anywhere

Also, i've personally been stuck in the meredith one for about 20min, Mark Darrah was on the otherside (it stopped on an actual floor) and we both just pulled on the doors as hard as we could and it eventually opened.  Nerd Strength.  Was kinda worried about having our hands crushed though....

Ah, but the juicy part is that we didn't have confirmation until now that the artwork definitely depicted Cassandra, and not just, as M-Law, put it, "a seeker."


I realize that Hawke and Meredith, the other two elevators, are DAII staples just like Cassandra. But their pictures weren't used as examples of neat stuff to come in DAIII. 


Forgive my rumormongering, but this is still some of the neatest information we've had to date.

I'm not a claustrophobic person, but that sounds about as much of a nightmare as possible for me. I've always had the thought I would die in an elevator, so to be stuck in one, even for twenty minutes, would have me flipping out. 

Kudos to you and Mark for prying open the maw of that death trap!

Forgive my rumormongering, but this is still some of the neatest information we've had to date. 

Just to clear up some things,

First, I had always just assumed it was Cassandra. (i could be wrong they were done before i joined the team)
Second, when Mark was walking around taking those pictures he said "these don't relate to DAIII".
Third, there is no painted artwork, framed art, etc on the walls of this floor of anything DAIII specfic.
Fourth, those elevators were painted waaaay before DAIII concepts were even started, so they are completly not related.

Sorry to bubble burst but none of it is about DAIII :happy:

That must have been a pretty darn nice surprise for her and (I'm assuming) her friends =)

I swear I would sign similar NDAs and keep my word. Just you know, putting that out there with no ulterior motives.
