Don't worry, Cam. They're in the Fade. That's where all lost emails go....the Fade won;t tell. You just better hope no Dreamers run into them....

Someone on twitter asked
@Mike_Laidlaw so who created the Qunari?

Mike Laidlaw
@user Well, when a mommy Qunari and a Daddy Qunari love one another very much...(they are forcibly separated by the Qun.)

Patrick Weekes
@Mike_Laidlaw Note to self, see if boss notices me slipping "Uncle Ben-Hassrath" into the game.

David Gaider ‏-
@PatrickWeekes @Mike_Laidlaw Qunari are a bit too big to just slip in somewhere unnoticed.

Patrick Weekes ‏
@davidgaider  Phrasing!

David Gaider-@PatrickWeekes  It's a lot to take in, I know.

I laughed too long at this

Just read his answer in the thread. That was worth it.

Haha, it's great to read that Mr. Gaider can take a step back and just laugh and enjoy all the rage, complaining and crying coming out of theese forums. I'm just hoping he won't make Cassandra non-romancable just to spite everyone who has been complaining about her looks.

My Inquisitor will need some Pentaghast lovin'.

i think it would be funny if he made her flirtable....and then pulled an Aveline....you think you're romancing her but then, *shot down!* Varric stole her heart right out from under your nose.

Gah, it is time for a female warrior to be romancable, damnit! We've had two rogues and two mages so far in two games... it's time for a warrior! Cassandra would be perfect in my opinion. I just hope Gaider feels the same way. :pinched:

For reals. The only woman I wanted to romance in DA][ was Aveline and they just TEASED me with the romance, then rubbed my face in the fact that I couldn't romance her. People saying "Cassandra is too masculine" or "Cassandra is ugly now" can suck it. SUCK IT!

I'm imagining this being said with Psych inflections (even if that wasn't intended):

On Topic, has there been any more talk of Sprint Reviews in a while?

IIRC correctly there was one a week or two ago, but I think that they've been more sporadic (or they just haven't been able to talk about them as much) for the last couple of months. I can't think of where it was, so apologies if I've completely imagined this, but I feel like perhaps not long after the big info dump, one of the devs indicated that the SRs would be a less regular thing for a while.

Edit: Oh, I think this is what I was thinking of:  Allan's response immediately below this post. I guess it was more specifically in regards to the hectic schedule around the cons, but I feel like that's continued through the present. There has been a lot of crunching going on, after all.

I think it's more likely that if he were going to let stuff like that effect him (which I doubt) he would make it so that ONLY she were romanceable lol. Which would be fine by me, since I'm with you.

Mary Kirby has a tweet in the following: "I think the better solution is player autodialogue that flirts with Cassandra nonstop."

Can we have this has an hidden mode or something?

Last I read they were busting ass to get a stable-ish build ready to take home over the holidays. A lot of teammembers have been tweeting about late nights at the office in the last few weeks.

I feel your pain, Davey.  Christmas shopping is the monkey on my back.  If it'll help, I'd be happy to order stuff off of Amazon for you, so that you can feel better about your devotion to DA.

I vaguely remember someone mentioning also that Sprint Reviews won't be as important or long as they were before, since they've moved to a new stage of the project.

(like, the last one was only about an hour or so [?] compared to whole-day events when they were first starting out)

Not a tweet, but in Gaider's blog there were an interesting part about Gaider writing a character in DAI that he wanted to write since he joined Bioware. Who do you guys think it might be?

Maybe someone we don't even know about yet? They could've modified a lot of the characters since they were first hinted or mentioned in surveys etc. But just to take a wild guess, I think a sarcastic Dorian would be a possibility. It could even be Cole, if he's still in the game, since that character *was* someone who Gaider personally invented and seemed to put a lot of genuine thought into.

(Did David say he wrote two characters for Inquisition, or three? That's Cassandra and maybe another one or two?)

I found a lot of his posts recently really interesting, there's a great one here on how as a writer he uses parts of his own experiences to write for characters.

I believe David said he wrote two of the followers, but he could be referring to a non follower. PC's antagonist perhaps?
