It looks like Empress Celene had a nice party xD.

Those bags in the middle of the shot look like they have Kirkwall markings on them.

They're daggers. The one on his right side is a design from DA][.

I wouldn't call it 'annoying'. It's quite real if you look at that 'cause the more you fight the more your armor spoils.

Some people find realism in games annoying.

Personally, I think it's freaking great.

'Realism' is a very tricky word that can easily lead people into absurdities if they're not careful how they use it.

Absurdities like armor degrading when it is being banged by a thousand assailants?

I guess it's a good thing you're here then. Absurdities on the internet? Heaven forbid!

Now, you see, I'm guessing that armor will be able to be repaired somehow? Instead of just having to be replaced? And it will probably be possible on the field. No forge, no clunky tools, no long and tedious process. Tsk tsk tsk. Not very 'realistic,' is it Jimmy?

And why should we be able to do it on the field?

Why do most games with degrading equipment allow the player to repair it on the field?

Oh, and whatever the process, it certain doesn't take the many tedious hours it 'realistically' should.

I'm still not clear as to what exactly your objection to degradable armor is? Are you saying it shouldn't be included at all because you can't realistically capture the entire process of repariing armor without sacrificing the game's fun? If so, newsflash: everything in a video game is an abstraction for the sake of entertainment. I don't see why you have to make it all or nothing.

My 'objection' is not against degrading armor at all. Perhaps you weren't reading very carefully. It's against using the word 'realism' too loosely, particularly as a general adjective for 'good.'

Most games I played that had that feature I had to go to a shop or forge to repair and not on the field

Saying 'Realism' is 'freaking great'? Yeah, I think someone was. Or is playing a tedious minigame for several hours every time the player wants to repair their armor not 'freaking great'?

Well, don't blame me! She disappeared after that party hardy and no one knows where she stays xD.

About armor...I hope we'll get Wade who stays at one of our keeps or....if we travel through Thedas we could go to a local smith that can repair our armor.
