Dethmold exhibits (in the entire game, but in that scene in particular) every bit of gay stereotype imaginable. From the effeminate tone of his voice and the effeminate way he moves, through his discussion of fashion and other people's dressing faux pas while staring at the mirror and popping his zits, through his (sapparent) sexual exploitation of his servant and sexual-predatory ways (the casual "all right, pants off!"), through his snivelling and cowardice, to the manner in which he was killed (i.e. he is castrated and then has his genitalia stuffed in his mouth (!!!) before his throat is slit, accompanied by the comment "You reap what you sow"), and the various S/M and torture papraphanalia hanging on the walls. And then having the naked servant wailing "Have mercy, he forced me!" clearly indicates that homosexuality is a crime that should be punished by death. If you think that is not homophobia... well... I don't know what to say to you.

I do hope Bioware will improve the shoddy texture job on this armour. You can see the exact same scratches on either side.

Then again graphics has never been Bioware's strong suit considering Morrigan still has carrots for fingers in Inquisition.

I have an idea. Why don't you post a few pictures of better looking armor? Clearly, the world of video games is filled to the brim with such armor if you're whining that that picture is 'shoddy.'

"Mirrored" armor textures is likely something you will have to live with for a long time, in this and any other game. It's either that or reducing the resolution of the textures, or alternatively letting the performance suffer.

It's not something they are doing because of time restraint or lazyness.

Hellsing and a RoosterTeeth Let's Play have both taught me never to underestimate someone who is "dandy" they're either going to kill you with magic playing cards or stab you in the neck.

I don't generally like hats, but what I'm happy about is that we have the option. If you don't like the way that hat looks, customize it away. They're saying that we can apparently do that. Likely within some limits, sure, but they seem serious about it (and thank goodness because some of the armors were so hideous in DA2 and DA:O).

Yeah, I'm interested to see how deep the appearance customisation goes - it certainly seems like the colour, texture and material of armour pieces can be changed, and apparently helmets too, but I wonder if it extends to hats? 

Maybe it'll be more restricted, since I don't think there are a tonne of things you could really change about that hat without having to make really big adjustments to it (apart from colour or something).

I can just imagine the complaining if Bioware were to release those discs right now. "There's no voiced dialogue!", "I ran into XYZ bugs and can't do ABC!", "Who releases an unfinished game!" :innocent: etc.
