@azarhal: we don't know yet if Iron Bull is a companion. Even if he is, he might have written another one. Though I'm doubtful of this. Doesn't anyone know who are the other writers other than those three, Sheryl Chee and Lukas Kristjanson?

Unkillable doesn't mean that he's not dismissable. If he's a companion, I'm sure you can at least send him off.

Patrick mentioned writing a male follower a while back. It doesn't mean it is Iron Bull (whom he also wrote).

It was intended. But also satirical. After all - gun porn about a game designed around using guns (or other weapons) as the primary part to the gameplay is appropriate, if not a tad fanatical. Having the same fervor about romances, which are optional side content for companions whose sole gameplay purpose is to provide support in combat seems, to me, to be placing that same fanatical focus on content/gameplay that is totally ancillary to the game itself. 

Which is is why it is so odd. 

A. You totally win 1 internets. 

B. I agree overall (though I actually think romantic subplots, rather than necessarily what Bioware terms "romances", are a good addition to RPGs).

Could it be Varric? I think (but I'm not sure) that Mary or Sheryl had the Grey Warden. Unless Patrick also wrote Dorian-or-whatever-his-name-is-now-if-he's-even-still-in-the-game.

Jennifer Hepler also wrote someone, i think. And there's a writer called Brianne who I think also worked on ME3.

If I recall correctly, Jennifer Hepler was Cullen's DA2 writer. If he's in, I would imagine she was first pick to write him.

okay..well that's cool news. although, I don't quite understand how a general backstory for an Inquisitor would spoil early game stuff?
