Could easily just be a glitch within the webpage. 

I definitely didn't recall that when I initially read it. 
It's most likely just a little glitch in the html or webpages code.

I read that in Obi-Wan voice.. suppoisdly they said because of the frostbite 3 engine they won't need to make a cinematic trailer for the game that it'd be in engine.  I don't have a source but I remember reading somewhere in here.

Yup, Mike Laidlaw mentioned a while back that it would likely be an in-engine trailer.

"Frostbite 3 looks good enough we shouldn't need an externally developed trailer. Lots of people thought the E3 trailer was CGI, but that’s game engine."

Pretty sure it was Laidlaw who said that. Or maybe Darrah. He (or the other he) said "probably not" though.

Still, they could be using different definitions of a "cinematic trailer." Cinematic doesn't always mean pre-rendered. Flynn could be referring to a story trailer that shows graphics and cutscenes but not gameplay, like "Fires Above. "

My favorite trailer is still the one with the Warden walking in to the Deep Roads alone then Manson breaks in with the "New Sh**" as the Warden starts just slaughtering Darkspawn ... oh man, now I gotta go watch it lol I got all hyped up

Can you post a link to that? I'm not sure if I've seen it. I've seen the one where the Warden, Morrigan and Leliana are fighting darkspawn and Morrigan shifts into a spider, and I've seen the one where the Warden, Sten, and Morrigan are climbing up a mountainside.

To be fair, just because a trailer is rendered in-engine doesn't make it any less cinematic.

Varric is seen dropping to his knees and lamenting the death of the villager. Can the player control Varric to make him do that without resorting to a cutscene? If not, then it is a cinematic - as in movie-like in delivery and design.

Previously, technology only allowed cinematics to be rendered with high-quality CGI work, but that has changed with graphics improvements. However, again, that doesn't stop it from being cinematic.

Just on my ultra-dissection mode right now.
