Have questions about voice acting? What would you ask Brian Bloom and Claudia Black?

Sometimes I read a fan rant which goes, "They better not do X! I will FREAK OUT if they do!" and I think, "Eeee...we're totally doing that."

Heh. When I read that, I started to imagine a bunch of conversations being rewritten to have the characters talk about their pretty, pretty surroundings. And then I was like "Wait. Jepler isn't a writer."ElitePinecone wrote...

Sometimes, you'll redo a whole conversation just because the level art is damn, damn good looking.
I think he means redo the cinematic presentation of the conversation, not the writing.
That picture of Cameron Lee in the audio booth cracks me up, but that's because I'm imagining that what's happening is Cameron going "PRESS ALL THE THINGS!" and the (I assume) audio guy on the right is just like "Dude. What."

I've ordered the comics, and I'm making my way through the books, but I don't know if I'll finish before it comes out!
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes:
If you have played the games, should be fine. If you haven't played DA games or read books, there might be a learning curve.

"if you've played the games" hahahaa *laughs nervously* *stares at playstation with a dozen hawkes and wardens* (thanks!
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes:
Yeah, I believe that if you know that Orlais is a country and that elves generally have it rough, you're good to go.

The real question is... is he saying that because they were already planning on doing X? Or because he wants to add X just to spite said ranter?
The insidious nature of Gaider is unfathomable at times.

Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah@user not sure. Do you have a specific question?
@user@BioMarkDarrah Gauntles and boots, interchangeable? Return the mabari? What do you most like DA:O? And DA2? #3in1
Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah @user armor (including gauntlets and boots will be different)
Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah @user both DA:O and DA2 have good points for me
Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah @user mabari will not be a follower bug may appear

I think my brain's broken. Does that mean we won't have a mabari because of a bug or that we have a bug pet instead of a mabari?
He meant "but" not "bug".
Good. A companion slot will not be taken up by a dog. Probably a summon again if at all.

I have a question. Will the DA Keep let me create a personalized history? I'm crossing platforms so importing won't work 4 me.
Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah:
Indeed it will.

While I liked having a dog in the previous games unless there a new wrinkle to it... I'd almost prefer they change up what kind of pet we can have to shake it up a little. Like maybe having a pet dragonling or war kitten or something...

Well there was no real point in having a dog in DA2. At most, the summon dog was a minor distraction and a hassle to constantly resummon for each area switch.
