This makes me think of the conversation between Anders and Varric in DA2 where Anders is all upset about nearly murdering the one apostate girl and Varric is like, "By my count, you've already killed 200 women and about 500 men..." or something. I laughed a lot at that.keightdee wrote...

I was really hoping DAI would be the first Dragon Age (or first Bioware RPG at all for that matter) where I wouldn't have to massacre everybody just because they were in my way.
Exactly. From a gameply standpoint, I get it. It's fun. Games are fun! More fun in games! From a lore standpoint, it's insane. You mow down 40 guys, now you've got all of their brothers, best friends, lovers, and family members who want you dead. Of course, we never really see the consequence of killing so many people, but it always pulls me out of the game.

So with the 14 approaching soon, and Gaider mentioning(but not guaranteeing) that he wanted to give some info on LIs on the 14, I wonder if they're far enough along to give us ANY info. Even if it is just names, what gender can romance them, and their race.
When did he say that?

He said he thought it'd be a cute idea, not that he wanted to do it or that it would actually happen. I doubt we'll get any more companion reveals (let alone romances) for at least another month or two, focus will now likely be on the dev diaries.

Edit: Cute idea is better. It's just one of those random thoughts you have that people put way too much credit in.

There was once a time when this was enough. It is no longer that time.

Of course theres nothing to say that there won't be a Dev diary which touches on the subject of how LI's will be handled in Inquisition. I seriously doubt we'll get any names yet though, as only 1/3 of the Companions have actually been announced.

Yikes. Have some patience, everyone.
These are people's personal Twitter accounts, not the marketing department of Bioware. If something was mind blowing enough happened at your work that you wanted to comment, but couldn't give details, I don't think asking if such a comment fits into the overall public perception agenda of your work before doing so.

Best thing you can do is see how it runs Battlefield 4 or NFS Rivals, the only games currently out that use the Frostbite 3 enginekaterinafm wrote...

That depends on how old your computer is, I suppose.katerinafm wrote...
Can anybody ask them if the fact that DAI is coming out on xbox 360 as well mean that it'll be friendly to older computers?
If it can run current games that have been ported to Xbox 360, it should be able to run Inquisition.
It can run current games. The most demanding games I've had on the computer was the Witcher 2 and AC 4 though (with minor graphic glitches). The computer is three years old, so it's not that old, but game graphics and requirements have been advancing a lot lately with all of the new engines so I'm worried it will be worse by the time it comes out.
I don't plan on getting either of those games, so I guess all I can do now is wait and hope Frostbite 3 is computer friendly, hahah.

@BasiKarlo: did you miss the part where he stated that he has no problem with people usin the word Kossith on the forum, and that he doesn't like both side that argue about the correct term to use?
He was frequently the one goading that argument on these forums and on Twitter. I personally had an exchange with him about it here and he said then that he doesn't want the word 'Kossith' used at all.

Uhm, I'm getting this feeling that the game will not be ready this year.
They're already in bug-fixing mode and have been for weeks. Not to mention how long they've been talking about how gorgeous the game is. It's further along in development than they're saying. Like I was saying earlier, they keep referring to everything as "pre-alpha" even though it's been out of pre-alpha for quite some time. They're probably just gunshy and want everyone's expectations to be tempered until the game is in full-on promotion mode.

I like it too, though the armor isn't very practical. But Qunari armor usually isn't lol.
I choose to think of her, not as a warrior, but as an executioner performing a duty without severe danger to herself to explain all the flesh.
