No Alistair at *all*? No closure, no news of his father, his mother, does he find out, does he care about 'me'? Well, that's really a major fail point to me. I happened to care about Alistair's part in this story -- ALL THE WAY THROUGH ... not just to a point, and 'my' part in it. Well, there's nothing I can do about it except vote that Alistair's story get some importance in Inquisition. Here's my vote for Alistair and 'my' character to matter more. :P

The closure to the story with Maric (his father) is in the comics, so you can try that if you haven´t so far and you want more Alistair.
The rest, well, that will remain as it is, I guess. And it´s maybe better this way, fans could not like what would writers to with him. It´s probably better to have your own fantasy about what happened to him and the Warden next.

I know about the comic book, and Alistair trailing after Maric, but he didn't find him yet, or get the answer yet,...and then there is his mother... and I disagree with your conclusion. But it is what it is, and what they decide is what they will. My vote is still a better answer and ending and/or even a continuation for Alistair.

*EDIT: Also .... yes, please give a link for Alistair being CONFIRMED dead - ? Thanks.

There's still some question about who his mother was (maybe), but you apparently aren't as familiar with the comics as you think you are. So if you're interested in finding out more about Alistair and Maric, you might want to check them out (or at least check out some plot summaries).

I'm gonna guess they just haven't gotten Valentine to record yet. I mean they just made 3 comics that starred Alistair, if he wasn't going to be a part of the next game why would they bother.

Because it further expands the Dragon Age universe with inclusion of characters that were popular in the previous games.

ALISTAIR HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE DEAD. I posted the tweet earlier. All Steve Valentine, Alistair's VA, said, was that he had not been asked yet to do any work for DAI.

Chandelier doesn't drop? Typical modern BioWare. First ME3's infamous misstep -- the radical change in Udina's hairstyle, of course. Now this blunder, so colossal even the production staff themselves won't deny it.

I won't be purchasing Dragon Age: Inquisition and I don't recommend you do either. That is, unless my petition accomplishes its task.

Please sign my petition to Drop The Ball For John Epler. Because the salvation of quality rests firmly in blood.

I wish I could favorite this post. Maybe give it an award.

Yes he did. You're a mini-series behind.

Well that is interesting, thank you for sharing! I can see now why they decided to change Cassandra's looks from those shown in DA2. I liked the new design, although I still do not understand why they do that kind of angles to portray stronger personalities on female characters. I think personality can also be represented in other ways not just physically. I still like her new appearance regardless.Image IPB

Well , it's cool reading about Cassandra's design.
I really like the fact that they go for personality with female character faces .
I've now played numerous game when you have all females characters (the one who are supposed to be young and good looking anyway) who just look like they are all sisters to some degree.

The only thing I've noticed is in some lightning Cassandra looks pretty sweet , in others not so much...I know lightning can really change a face .But I'm just wondering if her sharp features just sometimes ain't helping.

Anyway for now I'm a bit scared of Cassandra to be honest , not her face. But she has little hearts on her armor. And when I read she 's all about power and authority...and she doesn't seem like she has a sense of humor...
I don't know , I feel like maybe those cute hearts are her very dark hidden side and she's going to go all Dolores Umbridge on my poor Inquisitor.

She looks a bit like Morena Baccarin, which is totally OK with me.

What a great idea to put Heroic Physiognomy Female Edition into the game. The jaw was just the beginning, haters should be glad Cassandra et al. are not walking around with a formidable beard flowing in the breeze. Then again, dwarven women might have a suprise in store there.

In addition to Valentine's tweet (was Darrah's last line supposed to mean "not as follower"?):

James Wright ‏@JamesWrightNI 10 Std.
@Stevevalentine What is this!? @Mike_Laidlaw @BioMarkDarrah \\

Mark Darrah ‏@BioMarkDarrah
@JamesWrightNI @Stevevalentine @Mike_Laidlaw Alistair is. Ot a follower in #DAI . Other than that, I don't know what we are talking about

James Wright ‏@JamesWrightNI
@BioMarkDarrah @Stevevalentine @Mike_Laidlaw Well if he does appear Steve must voice him :P

Mark Darrah ‏@BioMarkDarrah

I really like Cassandra's new look. It does a great job of portraying the strength and determination she displayed in DA2.But then, I have something of a vested interest in Cassandra's appearance ever since watching a DOTS production video and hearing Mike Laidlaw say "and then, obviously, we wanted to make sure she was hot".

Claudia Black and Brian Bloom did not start recording lines until a few days ago and their characters are important , hell Varric is a companion! They will probably call Steve Valentine later in development.

They never said that it was the first time in the studio though. I heard Gaider talking about Kate Mulgrew recording Flemeth early last year, and Claudia as well.

Yeah. Some voice actors were doing auditions for roles and recording some things in May 2012 - that's almost two years ago.

Since there's no Tevinter Imperium in DA: I, could u guys think about DLC with a glimpse of it later in the future?

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw:
We'll likely go there at some point in the future, but not sure when.

Will Dragon Age: Inquisition have gamepad support on PC?

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw:
Yes, Mark confirmed it a few months back. Keyboard/mouse AND game pad.

User:
Hey @Mike_Laidlaw hope your well. Can I ask, will we be able to pause during our game in DAI during any cutscenes? Thanks.

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw:
Not positive at this time.

The DA Keep tracks 97,654 choices across all games... DA:I has no Save Import acknowledgments.

Semi-confirmed rumor!

A question if i may, are mounts a summon or more like a NPC? (do they remain in the world/same place after dismounting them?)

Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw:
NPC currently.

- Hmm.... interesting. I wondered how they were going to handle it. I figured it'd be about 50/50 they'd go either way.

The inevitable follow up - will mount NPCs be romanceable?!

i meant in general, but hey even on twitter I'm sure there are some Devs who will hardly respond to questions and save the kind of information that Bioware does sometimes give over things like twitter for like Q&A sessions and events or press releases, but that's just my opinion.

Fair enough... but if you look at the number of DA tweets that someone like Mark Darrah or Mike Laidlaw has done as a ratio to BSN posts, you'd have a limit that becomes zero as it approaches infinity.
