It'll be in February at some point, it looks like. The new Bioware marketing manager Hilary Shapiro (@hilaryheskett) has been working on them for the last week or so, I think.

I love the idea of the spider research. Sounds like they want to make it scarier or even just improve it. Awesome news
They can make them even more disgusting if they add their egg sacks or if their little spiders just pop out suddenly after you kill a bigger spider!

Why are people so afraid of spiders? I get they're unpleasant but to the point of paranoia? Or is 1/3 of the human race afflicted with arachnophobia? xD
Well, now I know my plans for world domination...
Seriously I just want to burn them all to cinders
Specially the big ones, the big ones should be banished from existence

This was HORRIFYING.MichaelStJohn90068 wrote...
I remember exactly the moment spiders pounced down on me during the mages' origin in DA:O. It gave me such a start, and that was my first inkling that I was playing a great game.
It was actually the catalyst for my having to cover my eyes and tiptoe into every single cave in DA;O. And then they started dropping from trees, and I contemplated throwing my Xbox out the nearest window.
I can handle spiders fighting on the ground, even giant spiders, but I absolutely can't deal with them suddenly dropping from the ceiling making insane hissing noises.

You know, as much as I think the Warden and Hawke are best left alone, I think I'm going to spend some time in the DAI CC trying to approximate their appearances just to see what they might have looked like in the new engine were such a thing possible.WardenWade wrote...
user@davidgaider Can you confirm weather or not a hawke or warden appearance is still up for debate. Or has it been scraped?

But in Skyrim when they're right in your FACE. That's way worse imo. I usually wait for companions to finish them off or close my eyes and hack around blindly with a sword until they die.

None anywhere we've visited so far. Doesn't rule them out long term, though.
