I believe that is an Inquisitor, not an actual companion.

Sigh... I will just assume no progress has been made and it is exactly as it was in the previous game, because why the hell not?Girlgoten wrote...

Small question, if you have time/can answer it, about DAI: Will there be icons again over our choices? Like a fist, heart, etc
Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw:
Yes.

Thanks for the info. I suppose how much it has changed (or not) wont be an issue for a long time yet. But I am happy to know I wont be railroaded into being a saint.hhh89 wrote...
The dominant tone doesn't exist anymore, so I guess that solutions based on your dominant tone will not exist either.
I honestly doubt that the 'tone wheel' (which is likely to be the most used wheel), will present more options than diplomatic, sarcastic and aggressive.

Y'all seem to be forgetting that there is still going to be more in depth explanations of what your character will say.
Yep, generally in other concept art, that red sash or belt around the character's waist signifies that it's an Inquisitor.eluvianix wrote...

We've seen various species/genders of Inquisitor and the one common feature is that red sash.

and you base that off of what imperial evidence?

For some reason I guess I always thought he was the elvish guy in the back of this pic.

From vague memory Jennifer might've written a character when she was still working for the company, but I don't really remember.

Even if Jennifer had written anything for DA:I it has likely been re-wrote numerous times by the other authors. It may not even resemble what she had written if that's the case. Of course, the other option is that it was scrapped entirely.

"If the blonde elf is Sera and they haven't changed her name or did then Luke is the one writing her since Gaider confirmed that Luke was writing the blonde elf on his tumblr."
When DG says it?
I think my favorite thing about it is how it completely captures the personalities of the characters involved, without any words being required.
When Luke saw this (the writer for the blonde elf in the middle), I believe he did his customary smirk and just said, “Yup."
