I approve of this picture, very helpful. Also, are we sure that's Sera? Looks quite a bit different than all of the art we've seen for her, wich usually show her with short hair, a ponytail, and I think a mohawk in one. Seems wierd they would just switch her to generic shoulder length hair.

@TheBlackAdder13: according to Bioware, the dialogue in DAO was structured in the same way. Multiple investigation options that return the convo at the a se point plus 3 options to advance the coversation, which were diplomatic, sarcastic and aggressive. I don't know if it's true, or if the lack of icons and VA for the PC covered this approach. I recall situations where I'm sure there weren't tone-based choices, but those were present (although in a limited number) in DA2 too, and there'll be present in DAI (the action wheel in the demo).
While I think myself that the tone wheel will cover the majority of dialogues, there's will the possibility of the action and reaction wheel covering a lot of dialogues.
As for having more than three tones, available depending on the situation, I'd support this. I doubt it's going to happen, so I hope that the reaction wheel, if it's still present, will cover enough space in the dialogues. Though I have fears that it'll be limited to three emotions like the tones in the tone wheel.

You're thinking of a character from early DA][ concepts. That female Elf was never named as Sera afaik. A similar female elf has been seen in 1 or 2 bits of later concept art but the female Elf character shown in the survey that described Sera looks exactly like the blonde Elf in several articles of Inquisition concept art and in the gameplay footage we've seen(that also features the Grey Warden).

Didn't really like how the dialogs were handled in DA2 but I guess we should give them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully it'll be a bit better this time.
