A developer diary, something like this one that was released near the end of fall last year, usually shows off content and the mindset that went behind the creation of it

It might be better not to bombard the devs (especially Mike) with random questions on Twitter - I'm sure when they feel okay with announcing something, they'll announce it.

(And the "please ask a question for me because I don't have Twitter" thing can spam the thread quite a bit.)

*Places jug on top of altar*

*Takes a sip of water from the jug*
*Dumps remaining water back into fountain*

I do have a couple* nugs placed around the altar aswell. I'm too afraid to keep them too close to the altar though in case they'd burn up from the candles.

And no, no blood sacrifices are involved as of yet, but if Bioware decide to push the dev diary release into march I might just become desperate...

Sorry if this is off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread just for a quick question. Does anyone know, or can someone tweet a dev and ask if any of them will be at Emerald City ComiCon this year? Yes, I know it's "ComiCon", but the Dragon Age novels fit the bill, and they've added a Gaming section to ECCC. I just wanted to know if they'll have a presence there.

These dev diaries have every possibility of being like two minutes long each and representing ~30 seconds of new information apiece, don't they? I'm not trying to say people should not be excited, but maybe lowering expectations a tad among those who sort of sound like it's a new E3 trailer and release date around the corner isn't such a bad idea. At best this game has nine more months until release. I mean that's almost as long as the entire DA2 hype cycle, isn't it?

Still, I get it. Every nug(get) is Christmas during droughts. I guess I'm just predicting several "that's it?!" style posts.

I don't think anyone's expectations are too high, it's just that the dev diaries are out first sign of significant new information in quite awhile. So everyone's impatient.

Wouldn't it suck if there wasn't any new information in the Dev diaries at all. It was just a bunch of, "Oh, this what I do, and this how I make the game, with my coffee in one hand and my pet nug Rambo perched on my desk, and I like chocolate covered coffee beans quite a bit. DAI? Oh sorry, we can't talk about that feature just yet. But soon! ...What? No, I can't talk about that feature, either. Sorry. But soon!"
