But.. and this is a BIG but.. what the hell is going on with Varric's hair colour?!?!?!!!!!
It is meant to be a blonde-y colour, not RED!
It was also one of the things that made him unique as Dwarves more commonly have red and dark brown hair.
It irritates me greatly as this is such a drastic change from his original appearance, so drastic that it is hard to recognise him (no joke!)
I REALLY hope his hair colour changes back, though it probably won't, so if it doesn't I guess I'll have to accept the fact that they now have hair dye in Thedas.
Anyway, I reckon that VO session was probably romance dialogue for one of the companions he's writing, or something.

Or someone dies and people are very very sad. He does live off of our bitter tears, after all.

Is this how they get everyone's attention before a big announcement? I can totally imagine the devs doing a timpani drumroll to summon everyone to a meeting. Instant gravitas!

If someone dies I hope they are not a companion.
If they are I would like their death to occur depending on our choices.

Even worse since he may have written the scene himself. At "best," he has still read the scene thoroughly and given feedback on it.quickthorn wrote...

I've always been fine with demonstrating emotional reaction to the stories other people have crafted, but when it's come to tears swelling up over my own works as I've watched them play out, well, that's when I've gotten silly about masking it. I begin to feel a wisp of something faintly resembling narcissism when I illustrate such self-inflicted responses so openly.
Ah, but I can sympathise for Mr.G. Reading dialogue and then hearing it is a different matter. Go through a scene in a book that's rather emotional and then see it being played out in cinema... of course, not many movies adapt books well, so in this case a good play would do xD

Apparently I have a word limit. When I hit it, the writers say my editor comments start to seem like I've written them drunk. Ben sleep now.
Mary Kirby @BioMaryKirby :
@bengelinas Maybe try not to work this weekend. I am saying that, and I will accept "Because bees" as an editor comment. Think about it.

Why are so many people (or you specifically, if you've got any reason in particular) convinced that is art for Sera? The character in the art shown (which predates DA2) isn't named, and the concept art that popped up along with the description of a character named "Sera" doesn't have much common with the character depicted in that video (and some other concept art), aside from the fact that they both seem to be female elven archers/rogues. Visually, the character in that video has about as much in common with Merrill as what we've seen of (what we assume is) Sera.
Same deal with the Iron Bull, though I see less people making that connection.

I have no idea what the actual topic was about ...
He was just using that wording to illustrate a point. I don't remember exactly, but it was something like "Fanfiction about characters I write is like being in an open relationship - I am okay with my wife having sex with other men, but I sure don't want to *see* it." He should have written it "one is okay with his/her wife having sex with others...", but he probably never thought people would take it LITERALLY.
Anyways, that's my guess as to the confusion people seem to be having now... Not that it really matters at all...
I wish I could take that post back. Unfortunately, I took his analogy LITERALLY. I wish I could apologize to Mr. Gaider.

I think the whole situation is pretty funny, actually. I thought he was married to a woman, and apparently, so did other people. Hopefully Mr. Gaider isn't upset by it. It was an honest mistake.

I suppose it's because the same character was shown along with the Inquisitor and a Qunari in concept art for Inquisition. There have been major redesigns so it wouldn't suprise me that that elf and qunari were transformed into Sera and Iron Bull. Add to the fact we haven't seen those particular pair since Sera and Bull appeared.Nefario wrote...
