I don't want to play as some Inquisition member. I hope it won't mean that we will.

There really isn't enough information to know what the story will entail, but I'm sure we will be able to choose different paths with our PC. After all, it wouldn't be an RPG is there were only one set-in-stone character without any choice or customization.
I really can't wait to hear more details. SO EXCITED!

You mean like in DA2 where the only choice was Mage Hawke, Warrior Hawke, or Rogue Hawke?

Yes, but those weren't the only choices. I enjoyed lots of roleplaying in DA2; enough for six full playthroughs, and I still have a couple more to finish. Besides class choices, there are also different personalities and romances to experience, as well as the Templar/mage conflict, the Chantry/Qun quests, and I enjoyed all the companions so much, I had to take each one of them with me everywhere, so I needed several playthroughs for that too.

Perhaps people need to think of DA:O and DA2 as two children from the same family: each is separate and unique, and while they share some resemblences, they are both worthy of love in their own right.

I don't think it's the type of demo you would even consider showing to the public,so I'm not all that worried.

But if it's so good that it would "melt your eyes off" then why wouldn't you show it to the public?

The tweet  didn't actually refer to the demo itself as being "eye melting",but rather the end product ("your eyes are going to melt when you see this game").I'm quessing the demo mentioned is at best a very raw version.

I've always hated Cullen, because they ignored my epilogue slide where he went crazy. But now that they've already ruined that choice of mine, they might as well put him in DA3. Infact, I support it. Simply because so many other people want it so badly. Cullen for li.

It's all good. Just keep telling yourself that there is still a ways to go before the game sees light of day and you'll be fine. In the meantime, go outside. Take a walk. Catch a movie. Have lunch with a friend. If you camp out on these forums constantly hitting the F5 button to update the responses it's not going to make the game go live any faster and you'll be too far out of it when the game is released.

And I'm happy to report my refrigerator is no longer spying on me.

I feel quite the opposite, actually. I hated the pop culture and in-jokes inserted into DA2. If they put Spanish Inquisition jokes into DAI, I will lose all respect for Bioware. Referencing something else that's funny is the cheapest, easiest form of humour. Come up with your own jokes writers, please.

As long as it doesn't break the fourth wall as much as Fallout 2, it shouldn't be a problem. Pop culture references are good for a few laughs, but smashing that quad wall with a wrecking ball becomes a bit jarring.
