Now that's heartening xD.

Well, the available background options wouldn't be such a terrible thing. They'd be the first things presented to you when you boot up the game. Not much in the way of spoilers. I'm pretty content as long as not much outside the prologue is spoiled.I'm the exact opposite. I really don't want to know anything more about the story or characters. A teasing tweet here and a leaked screenshot there is fun without ruining the full impact of playing the game fresh. Mostly, I love hear about the behind-the-scenes stuff.
It's fun seeing how different everyone is about what info they want to know ahead of time, etc. Yay!
I swear, it's coming. Someday there will be more Inquisition stuff. We are pretty heads-down putting the pieces together.
So......no information until the game's released, eh?
Jessica Merizan@JessicaMerizan: @Mike_Laidlaw decided to scroll down your feed to see what you were talking about and I was like "Neil Diamond's not in DAI? What the ****?"
'Sweet Caroline' as credits song semi-confirmed.

Considering what usually happens in DA games, I think "Delilah" would be a better choice.'Sweet Caroline' as credits song semi-confirmed.
Over on David Gaider's Tumblr... Some artwork from Andy Bennett.

That hand gesture that guy I'm calling a Chevalier is doing: very monk like: new class?-hidden gem?
Wouldn't take the banner too literal unless a sten became a Grey warden... look at the other pics.

This trident guy is Sir Obviously Chevalier. I hope he is.

Pretty sure that is Dorian the Tevinter magister, that is clearly a staff he is holding.

He could be, but it's hard to say... Probably Orlesian, but I would have thought a Chevalier would be in heavy armor.
In the above pic, he looks more like a mage, with the scrolls at his side, the light armor and a weapon that looks more like a mage staff. In the original survey, he looks more like a warrior, drawing a sword from his back and in what looks like heavier armor.

I'd consider them warriors personally. Dog's very tankish. But we've never had lots of mages or rogues, so this fan art lineup wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

What are you talking about?
It's clear the banner is only symbolizing the player.
In DA:O, all of them fought for the Warden
In DA2, all of them fought for the Champion of Kirkwall
In DA:I, all of them fights for the Inquisitor.

Thats not a sword he is reaching for, he's clearly holding up the yin yang like talisman unless you think it's magically floating in mid air.

I was thrown off by Hawke, thanks for the clarity
.
We should also keep in mind that the picture is fan art. Very good fan art, but still not using any information beyond what's already out in the public.
(I got confused when I first saw it though, given that those characters are positioned under the "real" DA:O and DA2 parties.)
Please tell me those are not the party members
If they are, I think spear guy might be a mage.
so i count:
4 warriors
3 mages
2 rouges
so i bet the DLC character is a rouge.
Given that there are 3 females, and 6 males, the DLC character is probably also female.
possibly tallis.... just sayin'.
Origins only had 3 warrior companions. 4 if you count the "secret" companion, but he replaces Alistair in the party. Shale and Dog weren't really warriors.
shale was also DLC, and dog wasn't humanoid.
so maybe one or more of our companions have special class situations.
I'm pretty sure I saw that bald elf travelling with the inquisitor in one of the concept art pictures, it was an underground ruins if I recall.

No its not but lets assume for a moment that it is, you honestly think BioWare would reveal a new weapon skill tree for warriors and/or rogues in survey art and not mention it at all in the survey itself!
Not many BioWare characters are more disliked than Tallis. I would be very surprised if they made her a full-on companion.
I always wondered about that.
What was the reason? Because it's Felicia Day or was their more to it.
