Don't expect much of anything for this special thing they think we're all going to love. BioWare is terrible at these sorts of things. Just wait for the dev diaries, but don't expect much out of those either.

I thought the first of the new dev diaries was the special thing Bioware are showing this week. I'm not expecting anything knock-out amazing from them, still excited for them nonetheless as it's been a while since there's been any new DAI related media.

No, the dev diaries have been delayed and there's been no information on when they will be shown to us - we only know that they will be revealed at some point. What we're supposed to get this week was something different.

 

I know I shouldn't get too excited for it, it probably isn't going to be anything special, but it's difficult not to get your hopes up after such a long wait for any information.

Yup, Bioware's going to be at Pax East.

Laidlaw said he was going but was not sure if BioWare will officially be there, meaning with a panel and everything. I think even if they do a panel they will just go over what is already revealed and discussing The Masked Empire because having PAX East less than three months before E3 ultimately hurts it's chances to be a convention with major reveals.

I hated her too, don't get me wrong, just a theory. 

 

I actually think the dlc for Tallis was a waste of money, but I also look at it comparing it to Legacy. Legacy was so good that Tallis dlc felt like a step backwards and not in the right direction compared to Legacy. Tallis in that dlc was altogether bad, character seem decent but not handled well.

Did they even say that this "special" thing this week is related to that picture? They've been so vague about this that I have to wonder if they even knew what they were going to reveal this week when they made that "announcement."

Nope, they said we're getting something else this week. The diaries were delayed because somebody got pneumonia, so work on them is behind schedule.
