From past experience, it seems like BioWare releases news between 10am-12pm their time. They are Mountain Time (which means two hours behind East Coast), so that would be in the 12pm-2pm window for us East Coasters.

 

Guess I know what *I'll* be doing during my lunch hour and post-luch hour time today...

Gotta say, crunching early vs. crunching late - I'll take early any day of the week.

 

In news that's entirely unrelated to today's announcement, it sounds like the DA team have been crunching pretty hard recently.

 

Mike isn't going to PAX East, and it sounds like they're just working on getting it finished by release date.

Also, FYI: last time there was a big reveal that involved the marketing teams (if I remember correctly it was September 2012, when they "announced" DA:I) they did it on the hour, since EA's customer relations people in various countries had to coordinate their announcements. 

 

No guarantee that the same is true this time, but I'd maybe expect it to launch at a specific hour (and not like 10:26 or something).
