I'm still expecting just a single male and female inquisitor voice actor. The idea of quadrupling the voice budget in this area is hard to imagine.

 

I actually hope they do stick with one VA for each gender. Now that it's confirmed the elf PC is Dalish, I would hate to play an elf and have them sound like Merrill/Marethari

I hope so! It looks exactly as I imagined, and they nailed that ornate architectural feel. I'd love to just go exploring for a bit in that city.

the scenery is so pretty.....there's vegetation!

Weather effects and sounds! (thought the snowy scene with the wind wipping was great)

Yup that's definitely an elven mage companion in that city scene. Can't be Viv, that's for sure. Hips don't sway right (or at all really). He looks a little young from the back to be bald elf dude though.

Here's a question: seasons?

 

Trees without leaves, rain, snow. Are these all a function of location/altitude, or will the game take place on such a timescale as to necessitate seasons? Can't imagine how that would work, if so. But I want to believe (in axial tilt).

Location/altitude almost certainly. There's a wide variety in the destinations in Inquisition, wide enough that while geography nerds like us would squee at the idea, I highly, highly doubt time and money would be poured into it.

Also want to reiterate that I read the voice tweet in the same fashion as Basil. But I can see where it might go in the other direction too. Mostly I think it's that way on purpose, which means it's being kept under wraps, which could well mean they know it'll be a disappointment when the news does eventually break there are only two Inquisitor VAs so it's best to let that bugger slip amidst a mass host of new information. Time your downers.

So I could see it not being directly addressed until the realm of E3.

You get to customize the Inquisitor and there are already several pieces of concept art showing female Qunari Inquisitors.

I'm aware of both of those things. But we have seen model busts for all of the other races, both male and female and none for Qunari. But we have seen the qunari facepaint picture which shows the male qunari. I just want to see what the female qunari will look like in game, because we haven't seen them yet.
