The devs confirmed that we won't visit Tevinter in DAI. The room likely belongs to a Tevinter faction in Orlais/Ferelden. The Venatori cult in the PAX demo are likely a Tevinter faction.

Powersource, manipulating the Red Templars, giving it to their servants in order to create super soldiers.

It's an even rarer and more powerful version of the world's rarest resource. Why wouldn't it be in a Tevinter room?

I should clarify myself: I see why Tevinter might use red lyrium. I don't see the reason why revealing such in a video, since it seems to me a hint to RT being allied/manipulated by them.

An alliance/control between Tevinter/Venatori and RT isn't the same as implying that such factions are enemies/evil though, but I guess you're right.
I hope to know more about the various factions in DAI, and to see how they're stationed in the map.

Call me insane, but my favorite location in DA:O is the Redcliffe Village and I would kill to see it with the shiny new engine.
