Probably more chance for the Bald Elf Mage, because it was shown in an official capacity that isn't a concept art twice (the latest trailer and a blog in december).
Blog in december???

Varric doesn't like the outdoor and doesn't care about display of wealth. He likes comfortable things.
Vivienne likes to look fabulous at the cost comfort and to show she is wealthy everywhere.
Cassandra doesn't care about look or comfort.
That party is so going to clash on totally useless things...
I'm still open to who I think I'll run with the most till I meet all of the other chars and get a feel for them, but I can't imagine not taking the three of them at least one just for the dialogue fun.

I think that the ranking is in term of game plot writing, not online interactions.

I want to know who won. And I want that person to promise to never, ever write any plots concerning the LI of my protagonist.

Jo Berry@Joanna_Berry: @davidgaider No more details? That has to bump you up another notch or two.

Sheryl Chee probably tops the list, oh yeah her and MKirby are so nice on the outside but on the inside they are diabolical.

Yeah. My guess is either Sheryl or Lukas are at the top. Just a guess though, based on what David has said in the past.Sheryl Chee probably tops the list, oh yeah her and MKirby are so nice on the outside but on the inside they are diabolical.

Varric, Vivienne and Cullen companions but not LI. Semi-confirmed rumour!

I'm honestly not sure whether I should be terrified or eagerly anticipating all of the horror and fan tears.

I don't think I'll like Vivienne, that description pretty much fits for one of the kinds of people I prefer to avoid.
Then again, it must be nothing and I'm just a prejudicious jerk.

I love her look! At first I got the impression that her character would be very defined by her being pro-Circle, but it looks like she's going to be a neat look on how Orlesian culture works? I can't wait ![]()
Next kit will probably be the elf mage since he's the only one left that was sort of shown? They could reveal more companions before that, I suppose.

What an amazing description for Vivienne. I can already tell she's going to be one of my favorite DA characters.

This guy, he was shown as an example of outfits in DA:I. Many people (including me) didn't realise at the time that he's actually a companion, the bald elf mage that was in the Discover the Dragon Age video.

I think that might be the point. I think she may have been designed as one of those characters that many people will love to hate (like members of the hero's group that clash with the protagonist on personal, moral, or societal grounds), or love them because they dislike them but they are awesome (like all of the most popular villains). Bioware's been on the record as saying that they prefer to elicit a response from the audience, be it positive or negative, rather than receive the ol' "Eh, that was nice, I guess."
I feel the same way you do about her via the description, but I can't wait to interact with her as a character and watch how she clashes with the rest of the party (which is how a lot of the humorous banter Bioware and Dragon Age is known for is set up, like Sebastian and Isabella/Merrill).

Eh-heh, I'm something of a Buddhist so ultra-materialistic people are not my cup. But I'm also an anthropology student so all people are my cup. So my cup is contradictory and delicious.
I'll enjoy this Vivienne as a case study.

She sounds a bit like a stereotype of a drag queen.
