Not sure what to think of Vince calling DAI 'fast'. DA2's speed is what made the combat feel so terrible and jrpg-ish. I shouldn't worry too much, the pace I saw in the pax video looked really good.

Yeah, I thought the gameplay video was pretty telling. Speed seemed good, blows had weight (maybe even a wee bit too heavy... )

Have we heard yet how *long* the game is expected to be?  It sounds like it's going to be more comparable to DA:O's length  than DA2's, but I don't know if we've heard anything official yet. (the moar DAI the better!)

I just finished my first ever playthrough of DA2 15 minutes ago. All DLCs; clocked 65. Had 70 on Origins, so apparently they're not very far apart for me. But I'm probably just crazy.

Of course throwing in all the from-the-menu stuff in Origins last month technically gave me a grand total 97 hours with my first time in Ferelden, so there's that.

Also, whoo! I can officially no longer avert my eyes against any spoilers!
