@DiscoBabaloo I got mine back at Christmas. Any idea when we'll get the 2nd email with the NDAs and deets?
@user should be in this batch - lmk after the all clear if you still didn't get it.
edit: ninja'd by half an hour this is some kind of record
I hope I get in.
I listed myself as EXPERT LEVEL and wrote a big summary on how much of a super cool lore buff I am.
Laying down some smooth tracks with @TheBoyChris and @Liz_Lehtonen for our new spoken word album "Sprint Review". #VO

Does that mean... even the people who got invites back at Christmas haven't actually started yet?
If they haven't signed NDAs that seems to suggest nothing actually happened with that first beta round.
Aw, I didn't get picked *cries in the corner*
Read Melo's second tweet.

At least according to one beta recipient, she's received nothing since that initial e-mail at Christmas. All I can guess is that this second batch will start together with the first...? Maybe?
I hope I get good news today. I signed up waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when you could first apply and never heard anything since.
Darnitall that I can't check personal email at work. Will check at lunch, then again this evening. ![]()
If you hit an error on the #dragonagekeep site, please refresh (and lmk if you still see it)
Heard that there might be some #dragonagekeep beta invites going out today. Wouldn't that be something?

Oh well , I wonder if they 're creating the Keep with those guys who are making browser game?
Because they are making kind of a big deal of the Keep , and creating a save file isn't all that thrilling.

Yeh, I can say that the xmas folks haven't heard anything since that one email back in December....

If that's Varric's reaction to Crestwood I am going to be so overjoyed.
How you play those games makes a huge difference in how many hours you get out of them. My first run through DAo on Nightmare, I never used AI scripts, I paused and micromanaged every action of every battle. I also sat and listened to every line of dialogue, and completed not all but the vast majority of side quests. I clocked in at about 70ish hours.
My most recent on hard using tactic setups and escaping through most dialogue clocked in at a little over 20.
Wow, all that and still you managed 70 hours?!
I spent that much time on DA2, and double that for DAO. And I always play on Easy/Normal...

How can you get 40??? I first finished DA2 based game (all side quests) in like 18 - 20 hours on normal. It didn't have that much content to begin with, especially the last act. My second and last play through include Sebastian, Legacy and MoTA and still only took ~20 - 22 hours (I skipped alot of base game cut scenes though). DA:O took me between 40 -60 hours every runs, so it's like twice as long at least
I always use the time of first playthroughs because that's when I go in fresh. First time I played DA2 I watched all cutscenes, listened to all the dialogue, did every side quest I could find, explored the city thoroughly, paused combat to think about what to do etc. For subsequent playthroughs, though, I skipped a lot and I also used cheats to get the combat over with fast (I fought only the bosses without them). Like that, I agree that it took me around 20-something hours to complete, with each DLC adding 2 hours max (I really like the sneaking around part of MotA and fighting Corypheous is fun).
I'm not even gonna go into Origins because I've played it so many times I don't remember how long it took me to complete the first time. But, my latest complete playthrough looks like: base game (including Shale, Return to Ostagar, Soldier's Peak) - 37 hours; Awakening - 8 hours; Golems of Amgarrak - 30 mins; Witch Hunt - 44 mins.
