If I remember correctly, in about a third of the way through Asunder, possibly closer to half way,  the "rumors of a civil war" are mentioned.

Maybe it's an automated head tracking system for NPCs...so when someone starts talking, all heads nearby swivel around to face him.

I did a google search for it and... you're pretty much on the nose. It's for making characters look towards a specific spot smoothly.

Your shield-hand or 2nd weapon hand essentially. They were toying with the idea of allowing (every?) class to wield two weapons, but it didn't look promising at the time. So I wanted to know if the did indeed sort that out or will two-weapon fighting remain with the rogues.
