Alternatively, that works for a start, Darth.
*and then afterward they can have it back oh god how do I shot game development
There's actually an interesting discussion about marketing featuring the female Inquisitor going on here, it's quite a long thread but many of the comments there are very thoughtful.
Ah hell with it, I'll usurp BioWare in a charismatic coup* and leave you in charge of this, keightdee. You've got a good head on your shoulders for this, it is clear.

Well since it would be a trailer to mainly show your customize options it would change from male to female and go into the characters races being changed. Only thing is the way I am thinking it in my head, I can see people getting the Inquisitor confused for companions in the game.
But now I feel like I contributing to derailing this thread so I will stop and wait for the next tweet.
I saw the male Qunari Mage animations today and they were pretty sweet. Female will be awesome

Yeah they'll be better than that
The Qunari Mages get unique animations!? Oh Bioware, you are not making this wait any easier.
For the character creation on Ps3 version will have the same options of the next-gen version or will be limited?

No difference at the moment

Thank you for pointing me toward that thread, Pinecone! Clearly, I need to venture out of the Twitter thread more often. (But every time I do I run back screaming for the brain bleach.)
With all due respect, I think people are blowing the "no female lead" out of proportion.
We don't even have a male lead. At this point, all we have are demonstrations and a "environment" trailer with a male inquisitor. That's it. BioWare isn't pushing some agenda to make sure all of the marketed leads are male.
I'm sure they'll soon feature a different race/gender protagonist. So far, there isn't a single set "face" for the game, like Garrett Hawke was.
There is no need for a collective "sigh" of disappointment just yet.
Frankly, given that this is a whole new engine, I was incredibly curious as to how the new male human model would look. I was not disappointed.

#DAI character gen now working for all genders and races! Be who you want!! #sprintreviewday
Well, they said yesterday that character gen works now for all genders and races. So I guess they'll show us not only male/female human, but more. Cause now it's possible. I'm really curious how females look like.

We'll have to see, I suppose. I know Mike has already said there'll be femShep marketing, but Bioware doesn't have the best record for this kind of thing. I see no reason why people shouldn't remind them of that obligation, especially when we already have had two trailers featuring the same male human warrior Inquisitor.
If you looked at the trailers and other marketing for DA2, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, after all, it's quite possible that you'd have no idea female protagonists even existed. They weren't mentioned once in those three campaigns.

I think they could make a cool trailer that switches between male and female inquisitor, kinda like a trailer that shows you can male or female type thing
THAT would be perfect I think. Considering that their first trailer avoided showing the gender of the protagonist and we only had a male version show up for gameplay and as voice; I think this is actually what they'll be going for (and that they'll show us some gameplay using a female Inquisitor, maybe even a non-human one)

!
Well it'll come when it'll come. I want to see a how male elves and female Qunari look like in real-time gameplay footage.
Yeah, especially mages for me. Cause it's my main class.
new tester job shadowing today. have distributed video of @PatrickWeekes singing, as part of Essential QA Training
@cancerbaby I was told that had been destroyed.
@PatrickWeekes not sure such a thing CAN be destroyed, short of chucking it into Mount Doom

Thank you for misrepresenting my argument ("I think people are blowing the "no female lead" out of proportion") and then going on to prove my point ("all we have are demonstrations and a "environment" trailer with a male inquisitor").
Everyone else, thank you for your thoughtful and nuanced responses. I look forward to watching how the DA:I advertising campaign unrolls.
Well your passive aggressiveness does you no credit.
