Why is it that the "itsgotgriffins" just raise the value of this book even if I have no idea who the writer is.

Just wrote this as a line direction for an actor: "Like a grumpy dad showing you how to build a fence."

Sweet Maker!!!! Pre-ordered!!!!!!!!  I'm surprised we are only just hearing about it, as we've known about Masked Empire for a while.

@Mike_Laidlaw I do hope that Griffin is still chilling somewhere on your desk.

@Michael_Coles @Mike_Laidlaw "griffon" is the preferred spelling for DA style, Coles. :P Editor away!

Compromise spelling: griyfphoin

Or, Feathers.

(if we get a griffon mount in Inquisition I am calling it Feathers and nobody can stop me)

I'd call mine Dragon (or possibly Archdemon) just to throw people off, and to make Varric's stories have a grain of truth to them when he says "and the Inquisitor flew in on a dragon/archdemon"  :D

I'm pretty sure that all the stuff about Dragon Age today has really pushed up my Klout score regarding LEGOs, right @PatrickWeekes ?

@Mike_Laidlaw DAMN IT.

We are now at the stage of the project where everyone does work/meetings over "lunch" and tries to find a few minutes to eat afterwards.

YES.

Makes sense.  In the scenario in which Loghain is an alive Grey Warden he's sent to Orlais. Largely to put distance between him and his potential power base, so he can't interfere with Ferelden politics again.

Though he probably doesn't have a whole lot of time left before his Calling, the way I understand how that works.

@Ryan_Treadwell My peanut butter sandwich was excellent

@AarynFlynn Sandwiches seem to be the popular choice. This is the best part of the project, by far. So much to do!

Varric's stories might have more truth than even he suspects.

If Loghain survives the final battle, he dies in the Epilogue. There is a 10 year gap at least between the ending of DA:O and the beginning of DA:I.

Further, we've been told on numerous occasions not to take the epilogue slides of Origins (or Awakening) as fact.

It never specified when he died, all it said was he served them for many years which could be any amount of time, as upsettingshorts said if he's in DAI then he likely doesn't have to much time left and i'm somewhat surprised he still might be alive and may show up.

He has 20 years left for his Calling no? I'd say that's plenty of time.

Not exactly, according to Gaider it can happen anywheres from 5-30 years after they become a warden, it also depends on many factors like age, health, willpower, their level of interaction with darkspawn and other stuff like that.

http://swooping-is-b...om/1286233.html

It varies quite a bit, I'm surprised mainly due to his age and that he's lasted this long as it is, also I can't really see him lasting another 5-20 years due to all of those factors listed above.
