It may be just me but I think I maybe see some squiggly lines on his forehead.
The tatoos might just be really pale and difficult to see.

I think I see what you mean. Good eye! If he is Dalish, I wonder if he might end up being from the same clan as the Dalish protagonist, or if he's recruited.

His fashion taste is quite practical   Solas looks like an awesome character! Can't wait to learn more about him

Well, kinda confirmed. Although Patrick Weekes says, "many excited non-german readers" which makes me wonder. Maybe it was the name mix up? Solas vs. Solace? Or it's all a cruel mistake.....but Gaider kinda confirmed that part. If Iron Bull is in it, maybe he's not a companion, but an important npc. This, of course, would break my heart.

 

Buuut, I'm inclined to believe that Solas the mage Dreamer elf and Iron Bull are companions. But Weekes is warning us of something. What that something is, Idk.

 

pssh. whatever. we'll find out.

The more pictures I see of the elf mage the more I dig his look. Also, the name Solas sounds nice.
I can't wait to know more about him.

He's a nice visual contrast with Vivienne. She's all brightly dressed in the pics we've seen with nice clothes and he's more dull colored and dressed simply.

I wish the elf looked something close to an Arcane Warrior....maybe even wear an armor and yield a weapon that could cast spells.

I guess that's too much to ask for.
