Oh, I do hope there are no big cities. It may be an indicator we don't need to handle the Orlesian civil war, even...

The "No big Cities"-Thing is probably just an assumption based on the lack of ingame-footage that shows these cities. Hence the word "voraussichtlich" (= presumably).
Well, you can't really do big cities properly in open world. Unless they're almost the sole focus of the game

We might deal with the war on the battlefield though.

Potentially. But it's brutally uninteresting to me and I still hope to avoid it.

I am intrigued by the dragons in Inquisition and how they will be handled, especially gameplay. I find dragons more threatening when they are basically constantly moving and using its surroundings to its advantage. Also, great animation helps a great deal. This is a feature that I have found quite lacking in the Dragon Age franchise, due to the games combat system. However with this upcoming installment, it seems this time around BW might pull it of.
And dear God that giant is huge! Ogres can step aside. Almost makes me want to be able to scale its back and attack it in the head (ala similar to Dragon's Dogma).
Well looking at those fat dragons legs...I'm just wondering if I can have some dragon steaks.
I kinda like the new design , they're massive.
Pretty interesting how so many try to find every creature revealed being edible in some way. Not that I mind, I'm one of them.

We'll see. Bioware isn't releasing news about the story or plots, so at this point we can just guess.

Yeah, If you want to keep your ingame world at an realistic scale you could probably show 5% of Val Royeaux before the zone becomes too big.

DAI isn't technically open world though. So they can make each major city and enclose it in its own separate world space, which would allow for some pretty large cities to explore in.

Hopefully it will be up optional then. Though to be honest, I am far more interested investing time in this civil war than some (presumably) "save the world" crap again that I've been reading about with the Fade Tears and all.

Hmm probably, it doesn't coincide it what we've heard and well isn't that image where they're heading to the Grand Cathedral in Val Royueax and the same from the recent trailer or am I wrong. I remember some people having the same idea, also we've seen some evidence of us going to cities.
There's some inconsistencies with the article, I think we all should wait until the English version gets released before we jump to conclusions.

I wonder what they're basing that statement on. I guess it's entirely possible the writer asked BioWare itself for a percentile estimation. Even still, in my experience with the games industry these things are often kind of hard to stick a number on.

Yeah, I didn't get a chance to say this earlier, but guys, EP knows what's up on this. Where one journalist goes, fifteen journalists tag along. This'll be a fun week, and an undoubtedly irritating one once the inevitable inconsistencies even between English articles begin to pop up.

Well the first page is mostly a description of the Bioware offices. And that Aaryn Flynn is in charge since the Doctors left.
Second page is about combat: tactical camera is back, using ice wall to cut off archers.
Pros: vast and beautiful areas, tactical camera, challenging fights, savegame import via keep
Cons: so far companions appear shallow, how exciting will the building of the inquisition be?

No. It's just listed at the side. There is no in text explanation. My guess would be that conversations and stuff like that might still be missing.
