I can see the Maleficent comparison, but I don't see the dilophosaurus comparison ![]()
EDIT: OH! The frill-collar-thing. Maker I'm stupid.

Why do you think she's lucky? She might've earned that position. It's not like she was born into the Imperial court. So I think vivi is pretty cool, but I think her view of mages is entirely based on the fact that she's spoiled. She's luckier than most. She's protected by the orleasian courts, and isn't subjugated to the wrath of the templars like the other mages. She hasn't had to live in the hardships that 99% of other mages had to. So honestly, I hope my inquisitor can make her realize her preferences of the circle aren't realistic.
But does she spit black goo?
Wayne Knight aka "Newman" must be startled at that Vivienne comparison image.
That's actually dilophosaurus.
It's been like 10 years since I last had my major I-love-dinosaurs freakout so meh!
Deinonychus is the one with the stupid hook-claws isn't it.. #offtopic
Pro- circle and badly dressed, the murder knife awaits.

This is one of those days when I hiss at random passers-by for no good reason.
David is obviously channeling the geese...

True, but she doesn't live in the same world as say, circle Bethany did. She didn't have to experience the suffering that lead up to the rebellion. (that we know of currently)

Assuming you can kill her and not simply send her away, of course.
That's why I hope Bioware trolls to murder-knife happy people one day

She wasn't born into her position, she was a mage like every other one and made the best out of it instead of constantly rebelling and crying about being a poor victim. She adapted to her situation and earned her influence legitimately even whithin the circle System that apparently is so restricting to mages. I wouldn't call that spoiled and I wouldn't call her opinion and views any more or less "realistic" than those of mages who might have different experiences.
Also I don't agree with the 99% of mages living in hardship - the fereldan circle always seemed like a rather good place to live in during the origin story and judging by the size of the Aequiarian fraternity (and other things) I don't think being a mage within the circle system is as horrible as some People here make it out to be.
Long Story short: I like Vivienne's view on the rebellion very much and am happy to have her by my inquisitor's side - at least for most of my playthroughs. Her peronality sounds more and more interesting, the more we get to know about her and I'm looking Forward to more Infos on Wednesday. ![]()

Not related to the latest tweets, but I saw gamespot make an 'article' about DAI by showing the german magazine's screenshots that were posted somewhere else. They didn't even bother looking for the original source and are not even sure if they are real, only claiming they reached to EA for a comment but that they got none. The lack of research is...frustrating to me x_x.
I really like what I've heard about Vivienne so far. She has the Circle opinions of Wynne only with an 'Orlesian' personality. I hope we get to hear more of her voice soon too 8D.

@SimplyAllegra Ah, the Age of Personal Validation via Internet groupthink. One day, anthropologists will be enthralled.
As a budding Anthropologist, I can confirm that we find the internet very enthralling.
There is also a bad pun with Madame en fer (enfer = hell) and de fer just sound better IMHO.
Not a French native speaker and I don't remember too much from school but wouldn't Madame du Fer be grammatically correct? Isn't "fer" a masculine noun? ![]()
Then again, if Orleasian is based on Canadian French instead of France French, I might be wrong. All I know about Canadian French is that it's considerably different from the one spoken in France. ![]()
