Not related to the latest tweets, but I saw gamespot make an 'article' about DAI by showing the german magazine's screenshots that were posted somewhere else. They didn't even bother looking for the original source and are not even sure if they are real, only claiming they reached to EA for a comment but that they got none. The lack of research is...frustrating to me x_x.

 

I really like what I've heard about Vivienne so far. She has the Circle opinions of Wynne only with an 'Orlesian' personality. I hope we get to hear more of her voice soon too 8D.

 

I wonder how long before IGN and all the other sites have made articles pointing to the gamespot article just so they can get a few more clicks. It seems to be that's the extent of game journalism at times, at least on bigger sites.

I'm not sure how to say this without sounding racist but black (and brown) people tend to have bigger lips.

Not a French native speaker and I don't remember too much from school but wouldn't Madame du Fer be grammatically correct? Isn't "fer" a masculine noun?

 

Then again, if Orleasian is based on Canadian French instead of France French, I might be wrong. All I know about Canadian French is that it's considerably different from the one spoken in France.

 

Canadian French isn't that different from France (well for the France part that still speak French). I have no issue talking to my French neighbor.

 

As for you question the answer is not in this case and you are confusing preposition and article. Du is only an origin preposition (used to translate from most of the time), while de can be used in multiple context, including the context of "made of something". The Madame is made of iron, so de should be used, unless Iron was a place and the Madame was from Iron...but in this case we would use de anyhow because it sound better (we have a lot of that in French).

 

Note, I'm not sure if preposition and article means the same thing in English than they do in French.

So I think vivi is pretty cool, but I think her view of mages is entirely based on the fact that she's spoiled. She's luckier than most. She's protected by the orleasian courts, and isn't subjugated to the wrath of the templars like the other mages. She hasn't had to live in the hardships that 99% of other mages had to. So honestly, I hope my inquisitor can make her realize her preferences of the circle aren't realistic.
