@BioMaryKirby @User Varric is definitely a beef bourguignon.
Aww I like that! Sounds fancy but when you get down to it, it's just a good old, comfort food beef stew.

Both Brian Bloom and Claudia Black? That's almost too much awesome to handle at once!

I've reached that point in game development when someone asks a question about a line, and I go "Don't know. I didn't write that."
And then they say, "No. You did. I edited it and you reviewed the edit. You definitely wrote that."
And then I just laugh and laugh and laugh because what else can you do?
I told you about DA2 crunch when I had dreams about editing dialogues, right? Just... moving lines in the toolset.
I think it's like Nitrogen narcosis, only instead of water pressure it's deadlines.

Look at what the crunch is doing, the devs are all going to be totally crazy by June.
BioWare Asylum!
I'll play that.

I was described in a German article about Dragon Age as "a man who is very serious and never smiles". I'm flattered! #DAI
@AarynFlynn That is entirely my experience with you. Why are you always so serious, Aaryn.

Ehhhhhh, I'm typically of the mind that if people are able to joke about something (and share publicly) that there's still an element of fun to it. Of course they are free to correct me if they want haha.

I imagine it feels a bit different for each of us, but I don't find it too bad. Granted, I'm single with no dependencies at home, so I could work all I want and I'd only be affecting me. Long crunch stints can definitely end up tiring (32 days straight for me during finaling ME3, muhaha), but they're also satisfying in a way. Knowing you're working on a thing you love for other people to love, and are trying to make it the best thing it can be.

I dunno, comparing him to a food or drink, Varric makes me think of a double shot of Johnny Walker neat with a pint of Guinness as a chaser...or maybe I just haven't had a good drink lately...

I guess that's the same article that said the building looked like an Uzbek men's prison? They seem to like their atmospheric details.
(Or at least that's what Google's gnomes seemed to think they said)
