Yeah...Not sure I'm going to like her.

She obviously thinks highly of herself but she just seems like some kind of polite/sassy bully in her letter.

Let's hope she's more clever than that , if her whole strategy is just to mock people ...and call them "dear" and "darling" .

Well she's going to spend her whole time stuck in base camp , lecturing the walls and having her boring noble parties all by herself.

Don't know what to think about the letter. In some sense she is trying to hard, in another her attitude could get fun. Lol. She will be interesting indeed.

I think many of you are jumping the gun on her. Yea, she comes off like this at the beginning, but I'm sure she can change and mold throughout the course of the game similar to Miranda, if that's the course you want to take of course...

 

Miranda's character changed dramatically from the sassy woman we knew at the beginning of ME2.

Wow, that letter won me over lol, looks like i'm gonna put Solas and Vivienne in the party on my first playtrough XD

Interesting, it had the opposite effect on me - it made me question if I'll really like her personality that much.
 
I knew she was haughty, but I had expected her to show her resentment of someone or his actions in a more controlled, subtle way. Showing her superiority by her wording without directly insulting her opponent, while elegantly hinting at the possible consequences he might face for oppising her. The bluntness of this letter surprised me a little, I had hoped for something different.

It's a pity they didn't release a video for Vivienne... or at least a variety of screenshots maybe. She's very pretty and the concept art showed her wearing different styles of armot, but the only new info we seem to have gotten for now is that she has a buzzcut underneath her fabulous hats.

Also I would have expected that letter to be worded a little different. It sounded quite blunt to me, the insults were barely hidden and addressing the ambassador as "Darling" sounded quite disrespectful as well. Either his position is really extremely low or Orlesians are a lot more direct than I had expected them to be.

Viv's letter actually endeared her to me a bit more. Not sure how she'll get on with my Inquisitor, but I think she and I would get on fine.

Haha, some people are already scared, or feel already threatened by Vivienne. Goooood.    It was just one letter. Powerful impact. Loved what I read. I wish It could have been voiced. 

 

Now I think that a few guys that said, " I can't take her seriously " because of her look might change their mind once they'll discover her entirely in the game.

Destroying the entire city is a bit of an overreaction to repeated environments, surely

Though I guess it does guarantee we'll never, ever see that cave again.
