If the chains in that image mean's its Kirkwall, I'm adding it to my list of items in support of my theory that the game will start in Kirkwall, with the subsequent veil tear in the sky destroying Kirkwall.

I don't really see that happening.... Kirkwall blowing up twice? Na-ah, I don't think so.

That would be downright unlucky, but don't forget the veil is extremely weakened in and around Kirkwall and that is also the fault of Corypheus to

Well they've tried twice already...

Reading that letter mostly makes me wish we could recruit Olenna Tyrell into our party, honestly, but I'm sure I'll enjoy Vivienne just fine in greater context. Haven't run into a BioWare companion yet that I've outright disliked and she's certainly got more innately interesting qualities than several of them.

In that image of Viv...not to sound nitpicky but, her fingers have gone "Through" the staff instead of "Around" the staff...

That looks painful.. :pinched:

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

I see it's going to be one of those "90-minute check-in ends in a Fail with no explanation" kind of days.

- Wow... it's been a rough week for the gang.  :?

Who would win in this situation?

Could you just imagine this as well? xD

Morrigan vs Vivienne vs Flemeth?

From that letter I can come to one of two personal conclusions about Vivienne:

1) If she's the narcissistic type that thinks that she's always right, that everyone should be honored to be in her presence and that she's the greatest thing since sliced bread I'm going to hate her with a passion that could burn bones to dust and I'm going to destroy her verbaly in such a way that she'll hate her life.

2) If she's capable of self criticism and to keep her ego under controll we're going to get along just fine...and we're going to rip our enemies apart verbally, politically, socially and physically  :D

Hey guys,

I just want to clarify the endings in Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dragon Age Inquisition's endings variations come in three levels

1. Minor variations based upon choices you make in the game or previous games. There are HUNDREDS of these variations.

2. Major variations based upon larger decisions in the game. There are about forty of these

3. Completely unique endings. There are a small number of these

“Vivienne was fun to write because she let me play around with different ways for a character to be powerful. Any mage can destroy their enemies with fire and ice, but Vivienne can rip her opponents apart verbally, politically, socially—and make ice seem like the gentlest option. She takes great pride in her work, and her interactions with a certain unnamed Inquisition mage can be a little… explosive. In a good way. Mostly.”

That was taken from the interview we saw in the new Vivienne info, but does it mean the inquisitor, or someone else? :S

I really like that she's more to the point with her insults, nothing flowery about this letter. Saying that though, this is only 1 letter and she may change her style depending on the level of opponent :D

Sounds great!  I think I enjoy minor variations as much as major ones- it adds to the re-playability for me.

A few completely unique endings? Impressive.

I wonder if they will have an achievement for discovering all possible endings? That could take a while to unlock. :D

Part of me is glad I moved from Edmonton; I lived next door to the mall with the Lego store near the studio, and I would be in a constant state of no money. The other part of me is not glad, because I would've been in a constant state of more Lego.

I can't paste the quote from Twitter, but Laidlaw just confirmed two voices per gender, your choice which one to use.
Excellent, imo :)
