I wonder if all that epic sounding stuff will work on a ps3 system...I don't want to buy yet another console I really hope they'll announce what platform it is being produced for soon. the wait for especially that piece of information is killing me:?

I don't remember which tweets, but it was mentioned that they're aiming for a fall release date. If that's true..you think we'll get a trailer in the next month or two?

Laidlaw and Gaider have both said very recently that Fall 2013 is still their release window. Delays are always a possibility but they've doubled down on a Fall release. That said, I'm hoping for a trailer before the end of February.

well, if sony is gonna announce its next gen on feb. 20; and they're looking at fall 2013 release..

i don't think it's unreasonable to hope a trailer will be out by end of feb/early march.

It seems like the nextgen systems will have to be unveiled before many of the major third parties like EA start unveiling their games for them. Sony is going to be unveiling the PS4 or whatever they end up calling it on February 20th. Supposedly, there will be a bunch of nextgen console news at GDC at the end of March.

I'm going to guess that at the very absolute latest, BioWare doesn't show anything until E3 in June. But I think that's a stretch. Most likely once Sony shows off the PS4, Microsoft will show off the next Xbox soon after and then you'll see a whole bunch of unveils of nextgen games like DA3 between the end of March and E3 in June.

As for whether DA3 will show up on PS3/360, I'd guess it probably will but if it does there is a good chance it might not look as wonderful on current gen consoles as it does on whatever PC they're looking at it during their Sprint reviews. Didn't one of the tweets say they were using a 690 to show the game off? Yeah, if it comes out at all on current gen consoles it likely won't look as good as nextgen or PC. See the difference between BF3 on PC and consoles, for example.
