The wax fruit pretty much has to be Cole imo.

I thought he might be the surprise meatballs, myself...  But wax fruit would also make sense.

Edit: Took it away since the creator of the thread said it's old news and don't want speculation of this (food question) in this thread :)

I think the wax fruit is The unconfirmed grey warden...he just seem to have a lot more going on then what you see...thanks to this picture;tumblr_msfourdYU81scp23po6_1280.jpg

Yeah, but "wax fruit" is something that looks real and delicious but it isn't real at all.  And that pretty much sums up Cole.  Of course there's no guarantee he's even a companion, and much as I want him to be I have my doubts he will be.

I've been to Virginia once, got into an argument at a truck stop diner with a waitress over iced tea....it was really funny....

Maybe take discussion of the food into another thread. There have been posts about it for literally months now and everyone is just guessing - if people come into the thread for news, posts about companions and food isn't really relevant.

Do you really think we made it 1090 pages on just news?

Of course not. :P But do we really want this thread torn down, for that matter?

I understand (and have played into, in the past) the rapidity by which we forget warnings to stay relatively on-topic/avoid letting this thread turn into a social network all its own, but there'll come a breaking point eventually whereby the mods/devs will decide repeatedly informing us to keep analysis and speculation on new info to an introductory degree here and take the rest to their appropriate topics hasn't done enough and we'll be faced with a sad (likely temporary) lack of a centralized place for the #1 stop on the internet for DAI news (eat your heart out, Examiner).

EP, a long-upstanding member and contributor, doesn't want that. I don't want that. I'm fairly certain none of us want that, unless mangiraffedog himself is lurking these hallowed halls, hoping for a downfall. So let's just aim to misbehave *within reasonable bounds* is all, folks.

Don't know if he was preaching the apocalypse for DA2, but he was quite the little prophet for ME3's pre-release stages.

I'd stick with posting tweets and commentary. We've already been warned a few times.

Hmm. Maybe? The lower half of the face definately reads "feminine" to be, but the eyes and nose look a bit male to me.

My guess is it‘s deliberate. Remember the image of the Inquisitor standing in the sandstorm?

I think they want to let the viewer fill in the blanks.

I hadn't considered that. That's actually a pretty neat and optimistic perspective. Though I would like to see some form we can firmly identify as female used in marketing this time around.

Little twitter exchange between Matt Rhodes, David Gaider, and I. Couldn't let them diss my Southern roots.

^_^

David Gaider @davidgaider 8h

Cool, rainy morning today in Virginia. Waiter offered me grits. I NOPE'd out of that. Breakfast, then exploring.

@davidgaider tried grits in Texas once, such a sad breakfast. thankful they're not a staple up north *chugs maple syrup*

Porter McHenry @lpmc94

@MattRhodesArt @davidgaider New Orleans grits are MUCH better.

@lpmc94 @MattRhodesArt Don't listen to that, Matt. All grits are gross unless you grew up with them or you need extra spackle.

Porter McHenry @lpmc94

@davidgaider @MattRhodesArt No disrespect Mr. Gaider, but that is a complete falsehood. Shrimp and grits is one of the best Southern dishes.
