Nope.

Follower friday will only occur once a month if I remember correctly, so next time probably won't be until the last week this month sadly.
Perhaps someone could ask if they feel like revealing which follower it'll be this month, though?

I think the next follower they'll do for Follower Friday will be Solas. I also suspect his character kit is going to be the next released one, which will provide a decent set up.

Is it true you guys don't have chocolate milk?!?
If you mean like jugs of chocolate milk for sale then no, that's just weird. But we do have drinks you can buy at most shops that are basically chocolate milk. They also come in banana, bubblegum, bannana and cream-soda flavour.

You wrote banana twice, it must be really popular. ![]()

And I misspelled it once! I live in shame. Also banana tastes like ass, cool kids only drink the chocolate one.

LOL I don't know, I like my home-made banana shake which is basically fancier banana milk. Strawberry milk on the other hand ... ![]()

A new post on David Gaider's blog, "On Character Popularity":
The undertone of his post is interesting or maybe my bias is coloring my glasses. I do like how David is aware that the net is mostly people speaking very loudly and not a majority. Sometimes I feel like creators forget this.
Also, after reading this, I wonder what was DA2 most popular romance? Maybe it was mentioned before, but I do not remember it.
Oh and this was an interesting: I’d be just as happy if the character had no fans, or was even considered unpopular. It’s a chance to develop the character further.

hi mark. Just a question, if you can answer. Can we run fast in Inquisition, like Skyrim ?
you mean like the sprint? Yes we have a sprint
I think this is great, but could you (or someone else for that matter) ask if we'll be able to sprint inside hubs aswell? Far too many times do I play games where I can sprint while I'm out doing missions, but when I want to run from one shop to another while in the city I'll have to do it slowly.
I don't think it'd bother me the first few times in DA:I, since the areas will most likely be so amazing I'll want to take it slow just so I can see everything in all it's splendor, but on my 5th or 6th playthrough I just might want to get my shopping done as quickly as possible. ![]()

Wow, David Gaider certainly treats fans with sheer and utter disdain these days. I think he needs to get back to the roots of where he came from when he 1st started in the business rather than sounding like the poster child for pretentiousness. I also simply do not believe the absoluteness of the blog he just made. Far too many examples of characters that were popular in one game returning or having larger rolls in follow up games.

I think anyone has the right to be a bit jaded when you get extremely rabid fans like us from time to time :s

Not to mention, that's not the point of what he's saying. Nothing he said precludes the possibility of returning characters. It just means that popularity isn't the sole basis for it, and that nebulous "internet popularity" is very hard to quantifiably measure, meaning it cannot be the rationale for such a thing occurring.I think anyone has the right to be a bit jaded when you get extremely rabid fans like us from time to time :s
Edit: beerfish should read the whole article, not just the bits that may rustle jimmies.

Yeah I get that, internet popularity can never be truly measured, It must get tiring for developers though from time to time, when thats all they get to tune into :s
I don't think he sounds disdainful. All he's saying is that popular request won't alter their thoughts and plans for any given character.
Makes perfect sense.
Which is a good thing :3

I love that! I approve of the additions of character movement and control so much! First jumping, now sprinting 8D this is great!
