OXM had several blatant errors that have been confirmed in twitter feeds, etc.  As stated before, they tried to say Morrigan was a companion, and misquoted Laidlaw about the size of each of the five areas, now three areas.  I am pretty sure that they are saving Tevinter, Nevarra, and the Free Marches for another game.  I would take anything they said with a grain of salt.  The only things I would trust are things we have seen either verified or seen in concept art.

Good advice for journalists. If you write an article about the game, make sure that it's true. Don't show incorrect information.

You'd think they would fact check with Bioware before they even leave the office.

After the amount of attention and new lore Nevarra received in World of Thedas, I'm frankly astonished that it's not part of Inquisition. It seemed like they were deliberately building it up with potential flashpoints and conflicts so the Inquisitor could have a reason to go there.

 

Could have been made for the next game or just because they needed Cassandra to have something to talk about.

Nevarra is being very opportunist and invading Orlais while they are in a civil war...

Well, I thought it'll be possible to see more than Ferelden and Orlais. I wouldn't be surprised if we get to explore like 10 locations/areas and that's all.

Its sad but after all they can only do so much, and I'd prefer quality over quantity at the end of the day. I think Nevarra deserves a full game to itself

It almost seems like they are trying to make me not want to but the game though. What's next? No Qunari because we couldn't figure out how to deal with the horns with helmets and hats?

On the flip side, as a result I'm marginally less confident in my theory of instance-based cities only. The less the developers try to overextend themselves the more likely that content most folks (but not I) take for granted will be delivered in customary fashion.

Hana, the difference there is that qunari have actually been confirmed. Nothing has been cut from what has been stated, nothing at all.

True. In one sense, it means they really get to go all out on cities like Val Royeaux, so that's a big upside.

I'm thinking what is most fair to the developers and the game is to not even recognize these magazines anymore. This level of misinformation, across publications, is completely astounding and totally irresponsible. I mean, wow. I read them cautiously, I wasn't vested in the locations, but now I'm not going to read them at all. Getting fans hyped over misinformation is totally unfair to the developers and to the game.

It's actually Hanako from a visual novel, but since part of her appearance was inspired by Hinata I appreciate the compliment regardless. That's why I use it because it appears like both.

They certainly won't confirm any DLC plans right now in any case. Those things change, and more importantly, it'd make them look like they cut things out in the eyes of anyone who mistakenly believes they were intended to be in the game in the first place.

I have a vague recollection of that. I think it was from GameStar and native German speakers confirmed it wasn't really intending to be written as such. But either way, although GameStar got a hell of a lot more right than either OXM or Jeux, it's still not BioWare anyway.

Most telling to me is the BioWare dev comment that when he thinks of hubs in Inquisition he's referring to keeps. *shrug* But there's more.

I don't check here for a couple hours and suddenly there's 6 pages of posts and two regions that have been axed? Kind of sad. I'm glad we're going somewhere new with Orlais but I was kind of excited by the idea of going back to the Free Marches to see what havoc Sebastian had wreaked

It is important to note that they weren't axed as they were never confirmed to begin with. I don't think they were ever intended to be playable areas, heh.
