Oh, well. The game is still gonna be bigger than DA:O and DA2.
If that is true....

OXM had several blatant errors that have been confirmed in twitter feeds, etc. As stated before, they tried to say Morrigan was a companion, and misquoted Laidlaw about the size of each of the five areas, now three areas. I am pretty sure that they are saving Tevinter, Nevarra, and the Free Marches for another game. I would take anything they said with a grain of salt. The only things I would trust are things we have seen either verified or seen in concept art.
Good advice for journalists. If you write an article about the game, make sure that it's true. Don't show incorrect information.
You'd think they would fact check with Bioware before they even leave the office.
After the amount of attention and new lore Nevarra received in World of Thedas, I'm frankly astonished that it's not part of Inquisition. It seemed like they were deliberately building it up with potential flashpoints and conflicts so the Inquisitor could have a reason to go there.
Could have been made for the next game or just because they needed Cassandra to have something to talk about.
Or
Nevarra is being very opportunist and invading Orlais while they are in a civil war...
OXM: Nevarra & Free Marches
Me: Oh, that's neat.
Devs: No Free Marches or Nevarra
Me: Oh well.
I'm not particularly invested in seeing areas other than Orlais at the moment.
Well, I thought it'll be possible to see more than Ferelden and Orlais. I wouldn't be surprised if we get to explore like 10 locations/areas and that's all.
Its sad but after all they can only do so much, and I'd prefer quality over quantity at the end of the day. I think Nevarra deserves a full game to itself
It almost seems like they are trying to make me not want to but the game though. What's next? No Qunari because we couldn't figure out how to deal with the horns with helmets and hats?
There, there, Hana.
*sniff* Thanks eluvianix.

I'm sure they wouldn't go back on the multiple race options now, they've long since confirmed it
*pats Hanako on the head* Everything will be fine, I'm sure of it
, your Hinata Avatar is just making me go aww and wanting to protect you from all the nasty things in world ![]()
On the flip side, as a result I'm marginally less confident in my theory of instance-based cities only. The less the developers try to overextend themselves the more likely that content most folks (but not I) take for granted will be delivered in customary fashion.
True. In one sense, it means they really get to go all out on cities like Val Royeaux, so that's a big upside.
Will we be visiting any of the Free Marches cities in #DAI, since storylines from Exalted March were carried over?
Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw
Nope. Only themes were carried forward, not locations.
Maybe about only DLC not DAI? Maybe Free Marches in Inquisition?
I'm thinking what is most fair to the developers and the game is to not even recognize these magazines anymore. This level of misinformation, across publications, is completely astounding and totally irresponsible. I mean, wow. I read them cautiously, I wasn't vested in the locations, but now I'm not going to read them at all. Getting fans hyped over misinformation is totally unfair to the developers and to the game.

It's actually Hanako from a visual novel, but since part of her appearance was inspired by Hinata I appreciate the compliment regardless. That's why I use it because it appears like both. ![]()

Ehhhh, it *may* mean that.
Shush, Jeff. I'm trying to cope here.

If its the visual novel I'm thinking of but probably not....I see what you mean, I'm gonna say...Katawa Shoujo?
Ehhhh, it *may* mean that.
Yeah... about that. Wasn't there some talk a while back about there being no major explorable cities in DAI?
(please, please let me be wrong...
)

Heavens above, that's the one piece of info I am PRAYING is false.

You are correct. Here's a cookie. ![]()

I don't check here for a couple hours and suddenly there's 6 pages of posts and two regions that have been axed? Kind of sad. I'm glad we're going somewhere new with Orlais but I was kind of excited by the idea of going back to the Free Marches to see what havoc Sebastian had wreaked ![]()

That came from one of the recent magazine articles, so I'm even less inclined to believe it because of that. ![]()
