I suggest e-mailing a complaint to X-Box magazine for those that purchased the May issue at letters@officialxboxmagazine.com

 

This is what I e-mailed them:

 

I am disappointed with the May issue, as the Dragon Age cover article has at least two major confirmed errors:

 

• Nevarra and the Free Marches are NOT areas to be visited in Dragon Age Inquisition.
• Morrigan will NOT be a companion.

I suggest that someone contact Bioware to find out if there are any other major errors in the article, and I suggest publishing the errata in the next issue.

 

I feel I wasted $9.00 by buying this issue.  

 

I look forward to a response indicating how Xbox Magazine will rectify this issue for myself and other Dragon Age fans.

And now we end up with just Ferelden and Orlais. And soon it'll be just Dales and Frostbacks.

You realize that he's referring to the type of people we'll meet when he starts talking about warmongers from Nevarra and psycho Tervinter magelings, not saying that we'll actually go to the actual places that these people are from?

 

This quote also pretty much confirms what we already knew; we'll be journeying throughout parts of Ferelden and Orlais. That's it (barring an expansion/dlc).

We know we go from the Western Approach (we've seen them in the demos) to the Frostback mountains, That's a really huge are already. we're almost certainly going to Redcliffe because of images of an area in game with very distinctive Red cliffs and there's been in game footage of a city that has things that match up to concept art of the Capital of Orlais almost exactly. So you have Ferelden from Lake Calenhad and almost all of Orlais, that's far bigger than what ground was covered in both games combined.

Wait, they presented that information as a quote from Bioware?

 

That's incredibly irresponsible, if Cameron never said that.

Personally I think the world map covers Tevinter, The free marches and what not because we're going to be sending "agents" there.

I'm reading OXM again and the weirdest thing is how certain *they* are about Nevarra and the Free Marches.

 

The magazine says DAI has five regions, multiple times, like it was part of a fact sheet they were given or something.

 

I know it's possible the journalist was just really confused, but it seems incredible that they'd get something like that so wrong.

They also said it multiple times on various ocassions. It kinda pisses me off that they try to play dumb now, like it's the first time they're hearing of this.
