Take a friendly advice: you need to stop defending the devs around, there's a whole forum full of such people. You wanna go pedantic? Well okay then. The devs didn't say "Nevarra definitely will be a DAI location", but I didn't blame them either. Look at my post and try to find a word of complaint.

All I said was "never is a strong word and people had some reasons to expect Nevarra as a DAI location". Sounds nearly peaceful unlike of your post.

 

So-- no, I don't blame the devs so chill out. I'm just a little upset but I understand it's no one's fault but mine.

 

Take it as voicing my irritation at people spreading misinformation rather then "defending the devs." Where else exactly have I defended the devs? Considering the fact I'm a relatively infrequent poster I think you'd be hard pressed. I'm not being pedantic at all.

You contradicted him and said "they actually did" and then linked to the video as "evidence" -- indicating you believed you were somehow lied to about Nevarra. 

Between that and the other poster -- I felt it warranted being called out on before more people start believing it and you stoke the whole "ZOMG WE ARE BEING LIED TO HYSTERIA." There's a whole forum of such people.

Gone for few hours and I miss some important information. 

Just when I went to buy the OXM magazine, most of the info might be incorrect 

 

So we won't be visiting Nevarra or the Free Marches.

I don't remember the devs mentioning  Nevarra as one of the location we might visit so I was a bit wary when OXM said it was one of the 5 locations we will visit. I was cautiously excited that would visit the Free Marches. 

 

Ah well, I'm glad the devs cleared that up on twitter

Also, I've grown up with magazines just putting captions on screenshots that didn't even have to do with the screenshot itself. This particular screenshot just seemed like a good match-up for the text about Nevarra, since we see dead people on it.

It says "world map", and they he goes into detail about the said world map. Not people inhabiting the said map.

 

Yes you're right, it does say world map. He says the world map extends from Ferelden to Orlais. 

 

He then proceeds to say that what ENCOMPASSES this area are 'plutocrats of Avina, the warmongers of Nevarra, and the demented, decadent magelings of the Tevinter Imperium.'

 

Definition of encompass: surround and have or hold within.

 

Those are clearly not places. They are descriptions of people who we will find within the world map i.e. Ferelden and Orlais.
